Grant is an excellent golfer.

But I truly am asking for those that actually sit and watch his videos, why? You are just watching a very good amateur golfer play golf for fun.

At my club I can actually go play with guys like Grant. I’m just wondering why golf more than anything has this folllowng. Like does basketball have a huge following of good amateurs that just go play for fun and millions watch?

I remember the professor from And1 years before YouTube.

Didn’t know he managed to keep it going

Maybe it's just me getting older, but all these social media golfers annoy the piss out of me. Every one of them. Even the hot chicks.

The kids that grew up watching other people play video games and unpackage toys on youtube are adults now.

I don't think I've ever in my life watched a youtube golf video. I'll watch some that pop up on my tik tok feed that are short but I can't imagine sitting and watching numerous holes of actual golf/anything over a minute or two.

I can't even watch youtube golf lesson videos. I tried a month or so ago to watch some sand trap tips videos and I watched two of them and hated them both. They were the most viewed videos and they were just two random guys that I doubt were even teaching pros. I was thinking the whole time that I'm getting tips from just some random golfer that probably can't break 80.

I'm 39 now so maybe I'm just an old fart but youtube golf is not for me.

Yeah, I am old and I can't get into them. The only exception is if it's Max or Kisner playing and cutting up.

I'm 38 and feel the EXACT same way.

I'll watch the tik tok clips, but I can't sit through a tutorial. Give me the hot girls for 15 seconds at a time and they can keep the rest of it.

I’ll put it on at work. Mainly watch for the pro guys he brings on to see them in a more casual setting and hear what they have to say but mainly it just makes me feel like I’m on the golf course

If I watch a BDS video, it’s not because I’m interested in the golf happening.

They’ve gotta have an interesting guest for me to tune in to a video.

YouTube golf overall is becoming stale. There are few original videos or ideas being uploaded anymore.

I’m in my 60s and I watch a fair number of them.

I’m not watching to learn how to swing. I’m better than most of them, I like seeing courses I’ve never played, and in a lot of cases never will.

Oh, I hate NUCLR way more than any golf YouTuber. Just saying that the way it was being reported was like he was playing, not an amateur the same way Monday Q is playing.

I think this kid is doing the same thing next week for playing in the pro-am. So incredibly dumb unless he’s in the real field.
