Yea, his guys said he cut the Corner on the backyards and the trees, but it was all carry becuase of the fences. I heard the story 10 years ago.

I will say now that those trees have grown another 10 ft probably.

Trevor is probably 40+ now, but still plenty long.

Last I heard he had the long drive lab and trailer for the long drive circuit. Since I live in Sugarland, I don't go up to Trevor's much any more.

There were plenty of guys that could bomb it years ago like Kovar, Kapan, Morgan and Schroeder.

Kovar could hit a Ping 1 iron futher than most decent golfers could hit a driver.

I won a ReMax Senior Quailfier at age 50, with 341. I use a 48 inch Harrison shaft and a Bang O Matic 6.5 degree head.

Trevor is long from what I've heard. Bopper is long but old.

They say chicks dig the long ball but i think they prefer swinging dicks who can putt.

I feel it every day . After too many surgeries and joint replacements, I'm not long any more.

Since I'm tall with a big swing arc, I still get it out there around 270 usually.

In the the heat of the summer with sun baked fairways, I will surprise myself sometimes with a bomb.

You were always were a very good fairway wood and short game player.

Golf is a funny game, when I could bomb it, my short game was mediocre. Now that I am shorter, my short game has improved.

So after my fitting in March with Major at Impact Precision I ended up with Ping G425 MAX 9 degree driver with a Diamana TB 60 Stiff shaft and my irons are TaylorMade P790 with Accra I steel 115 stiff shafts. I have only played one round with them but love them so far! shot 86 after I picked them up. Did a putter fitting with him and we narrowed it down to the Odyssey 10 S10. We found that I would be better suited with a slant neck rather than the plumbers neck that I currently have. I have not pulled the trigger on the putter yet but I may go get one from golf galaxy tomorrow.
