I thought LIV was changing the game? Seems like they know the only way to getting OWGR points is with 72 hole cut events. Just like the PGA.

Hopefully LIV dies off like the XFL soon and we can move on with quality golf

Me? I’m laughing my arse off. The LIv “fans” are the ones melting

It’s great watching their back tracking. This is my favorite :

Pretty sure that Pride said LIV would never get OWGR points with their current format. Guess he was right all along.

They only way they can ever get points is to go 72 holes and have a true open system like the PGA tour is what i said

They still don’t look willing to fully do the open system which is hoenstly more important than the 72 holes

I'm not sure they can until all of the contracts expire, but i feel like I saw DJ re-signed so maybe contracts like that aren't going away. But they really can't have a truly open system and have playing contracts at the same time

LIV players should demand 25% more in pay for sure. They signed up for 54 holes and were promised less golf.

Whoever carries the TV rights have an opportunity now to loose more money with an additional day of broadcasting. Should have went to 36!

Looks like the talks of the ‘Framework Agreement’ to merge with the PGA Tour have all but died.

Good. PGA should never merge with that AA baseball equivalent tour.

Once again Pride was correct. LIV cannot compete and has to move back to original PGA rules and formats. The only thing that hasn’t changed are the teams, and nobody on earth gives two shites about those dumb teams. Gonna be hilarious watching their already garbage TV viewing numbers get further diluted by adding another day nobody watches lol.

The shotgun start is the biggest thing. I hate the final round ending all at once. Maybe ok for the first three rounds.

This will be a game changer in world ranking points for certain players in LIV.

Besides Chambo and Rahm, do they still have enough good players to make a big impact on the rankings ?

Some of those other guys are getting pretty long in the tooth.

Since it's the same field every week, how will that be graded ?
