As I mentioned earlier - Right now, you can't watch the Rory, Justin Thomas, Corey Conners group playing unless you pay for an espn+ subscription. How much does the PGA make from espn+? Why don't the players get a cut of that?

Please do. Chase Koepka has made some great shots. I've seen a lot of great putts too. P. KWM with an eagle putt coming up to get to -5.

Alright, I’ll talk avkht the play
That was a vicious double bogey for James Piot. Looks like today won’t be the day he breaks par for the first time ever in his pro career

Where is the Canadian Open thread? Hmmmm

It has probably been discussed already but what in the world are these symbols next to the player's names? They look awful

Chase Koepka’s wrestling promo where he proclaimed he had zero weaknesses was the highlight of the day so far

instead of team fire or whatever, it should be team phil with 3 other players under. The team name should be some type of honor from rankings or previous results.

Team names.
The team aspect of this thing will never take off unless they get a bunch of big names from the PGA Tour. That's just something they are doing to be "different" that I am not sure will work.

They put this much money into this thing and can’t even have a leaderboard on the website?

people also watched the first games of all these failed football leagues... its new people are going to check it out. How many people will keep watching is a better question.

They want you to watch the feed to up their viewership numbers. Not surprising.

But if you aren't interested at all, you wouldn't be watching.

hilarious. You want me to start a RBC thread & tell you all the double bogeys being made there too?

Except for different fans in a different country. I’m sure someone out there likes him

Not today, but maybe they will on Sat if he keeps it up.
The camera loves Scott Vincent right now.
These lesser knowns have a chance to make a name for themselves.

This whole thread is great. You have guys watching the live feed because they're genuinely interested to see the product, and then you have guys watching the live feed so that they can shite all over the product.
Either way, you have a bunch of people tuning in for a new venture that shakes things up and that's exactly what the LIV backers were hoping for.
Will Americans keep watching this after this weekend? Who knows, but what's being overlooked is how the Saudis will just aim to siphon off all the upcoming Asian talent that the PGA has invested a ton into for the past few decades. Many Europeans will also be inclined to play the LIV due to easier travel. They could probably get other parts of the world to legitimize their venture without widespread American support.

Just as I was interested in the football leagues. Can't make a fair judgement if you don't at least watch some of it. I just don't think it is going to have the staying power to keep masses tuned in regularly.
