They were allowed to play in them but DP Tour wanted them to pay fines. DP tour originally refused when PIF was offering to pay the fines for their golfers.
Maybe they are getting close to an agreement.
Would definitely help with the whole “global” tour vibe & attracting international guys

LIV Golf Promotions event is heading into the 2nd round of play.
48 players remaining & only 1 full time spot available to the winner. Top 10 get exemptions to the international series on Asian Tour.
4 of the 5 relegated players from LIV are playing trying to earn their spot back.
This leads me to believe that Bubba Watson is returning in 2025 due to ownership/multi-year contract.
