Of course people are going to come in an dump on this because it is LIV but I have a hard time not seeing how this isn't going to be epic.

Mostly. The plan is for them to be "franchises" like you see in other sports. They'll sell their own ads and what not. Mostly sperated by country sort of like you are seeing now.
There will be (I think) 4 spots determined by Asian tour standing so I'm not sure exactly how that will work.

Playing Dallas National Wednesday. Any tips? I used to have a bad slice. Now I hit my drives dead left. It’s bad. Played with my dad at his invitational in California last week. We finished 61 out of 64. I am not sure he still loves me. Lost a ton on the Calcutta and on the pigeon sheet.
Years ago. Same result. Round ended. I said “dad, I’m so sorry. Let’s go downstairs and get a drink”. He said “”son, your brother is playing in a college football game tonight. I feel like I just need to be around a son I can be proud of”.

Another good story about my dad. When he was 60 he marries my stepmom who at the time was 35. A good friend of his who was also a doctor like him says “doc. I’m genuinely concerned about you. Having sex with a woman 25 years younger than you can be fatal”. My dads response “if she dies, she dies”.
