I’m going to catch some hate but ive owned several pairs of “expensive” golf shoes...... but i continually pick up my 59$ sketchers 99% of the time. They are just plain more comfortable.
I have 2 pairs of FootJoys and a pair of Adidas golf shoes, but I usually just wear my Saucony trail runners. Haven't slipped a single time in them, and they're way more comfortable than the 3 golf shoes I own.

Footjoy Traditions are the most comfortable golf shoes I've ever owned. highly recommended

I have some brand new, never worn pumas similar to that for sale for $75. Size 9 wide. They are the ignite PWRAdapt waterproof, not the caged.

Got a new pair of Cuaters very pleased so far. Only complaint was a blister on the back of my feet on the 1st time I wore them. Havent had an issue since.

I don't care what you buy, but for God's sake get a fitting.
Let us know how it went.

I have the FJ Traditions and absolutely kill my feet. Worn a dozen times and will be chunking them this week.

The new Sketchers Arch Fit are supposed to really good.
But PGA Superstore said they were delayed again. Maybe October now.

Do these come with cheap clothes that don't fit right and a white belt?

Your shoes come with a free bowl of soup.

If comfort is the top want then look at GFore, True and Ecco. From there you can check to see which style better fits your play - if you play early, you need 2 year water proof etc. if not you can go cheaper. I haven’t found a more comfortable shoe than the GFore MG4+ and True Lux.

A lot of love for the G Fore in this thread. I guess I’ll have to check them out. I’m assuming Edwin Watts? What other retailers in Baton Rouge?

Jordan golf shoes
I have a pair of Jordan’s with the soft spikes. They are excellent looking & most comfortable golf shoes I’ve owned, but the functionality totally sucks
