I feel like Larry Mize's chip in on 11 at Augusta to beat Greg Norman is up there too.

That was a great one.

That Spaulding Tour Edition Golf Ball cost Norman more than one Masters.

It spun so much, he could never keep it in the green.

Sad thing about Jack’s “yes sir” putt on 17 by Verne in the 86 Masters was that Ben Wright said “yes sir” first when Jack rolled in the eagle on 15....
guess Ben not timing it right with Jack throwing his arms in the air couldn’t beat Jackie jumping in the air.....

I’ll take your word for it

Either way, the point is that for such a “daring” highlight reel Phil shot, the safer shot would have more easily gotten the same result without the obvious risk of catastrophe

Watching the pre tournament coverage and the tournament itself today made me hate the constant mentioning if “Better than most “ call even more realizing that you people lap that shite up.

These aggressively average media people literally lay in bed at night dreaming of what they’d say and dazzle the world with if they had the chance to glom in to something that somebody else did. So that they can sit cross legged (for purpose of revealing their gay argyle socks) while guffawing and having a good chortle over their oh so grand contribution. Indeeeeed. Per se

Whatever

It’s all very gross

Poor Jean Van de Velde gets replayed pretty often, for the wrong reasons

I was just thinking about him and Phil’s implosion at the US Open with that terrible driver into the grand stand

It was a 6iron. He had no tree trouble. The shot defined the tournament. Which he won.

Tom Watson's chip at Pebble in the '82 Open is quite possibly the only one that could be argued is missing from your list.
