Squire Creek, joined a couple of months ago.
You from NE LA? I was gonna pull the trigger on a BDCC membership when I moved back to Monroe for a job in 2018 but that gig went belly up so I had to come back to H-town. I actually was gonna join BDCC when I first moved back since I know a bunch of dudes there but then several of us went to Mystic about the same time and I seriously put that plan on hold because I was hooked on that course. I bet I made that drive from Monroe 7-8 times. That course is so bad arse but humbling as well. I figured that I could dink around Monroe and practice at Muny/Chenault and play Mystic when I could get some guys to go. Never really thought about Squire Creek. I guess you got a pretty good deal to join?

Those have been there since day 1, which I think has been about 8 years, but cabins were the plan.
I heard the cabins are not going to happen, and I think it was something to do with Fire code. I believe they are going to set it up like some patios, but its an odd location 300 yards from the clubhouse so not sure how that would work.

They would furnished guests with a golf cart.

sarcasm: Sorry, it's not a real golf course unless there are tiny lakes forming in the fairway, muddy bunkers, and a moldy green.

Played there recently for the first time and had a great time, tough course for first timers.
