The Piretti’s are intriguing…. What do you think about the Bettinardi line?
In the market myself, but you just can’t get up and go try these out down the street. At least not here in BR that I know of. Same thing with the Evnroll line.
I need something face balanced or close to, but need a blade or mid mallet type. I tried the damn spider for a while (won it). I can’t put for shite with it, I’m back to my old Anser.
I've owned probably 40-50 different Bettinardis over the last few years, from OTR, Limited Runs, Tour Dept models, and Hive models. They're all fantastic and well made products. My disdain with them currently is they've cut off Hive access unless you visit in person or get lucky on a Hive release. Other than that, you need to own one of their NFTs to purchase through the Hive. I'm sure I'm in the minority, but I've always preferred their carbon offerings versus their premium DASS models.
If you're looking for something face balanced and in a blade, it's gonna be either a single/double bend shaft or a long neck plumber's hosel. If you're looking for something in a mallet, their best offerings are going to be the spud neck Inovai 6.0 or 8.0s model. The 8.0 is a really nice, compact head. It's probably their best offering on the Inovai line to date

If you can't hit a putter solid why are you spending $400 on a putter? No amount of money is going to help that

What about that BB46, I like that head as well.
That 8.0 reminds of me of that spider I have…
that being said, that spider had too much toe hang for me. It fought my stroke, I went back to the Anser I’ve been having for years, which is face balanced. Started making puts again.
I want to get a mid mallet style in the bag. I like the look a lot, some styles better than others. That 6.0 and or the BB46 are what I’m looking at, which most companies basically make a version of that style.

The BB46 is gonna be close to face balanced but still has 1/8 toe hang. The newest models switched to 303SS, where as the older ones were made from carbon. The spud neck 6.0 would be close to face balanced too but still a little 1/8 toe hang.
The biggest difference in those two would be the face milling. The BB lineups are FlyMill faces, where as the 6.0 is a RCF Roll Control Face. The RCF (and prior FIT Face version) are designed for softer feel for more aggressive putting strokes

How do y'all pick new putters? I am terrified to change putters and I don't know how I'd feel comfortable putting a new one in the bag after a few putts at Dick's or wherever.
Is it a leap of faith and based on dislike of your current one, or are y'all getting fitted?

1. Looks
It may be a great putter, but if you can't stand looking at it, then that's trouble.
2. Feel
Do you want firm or softer. Does it have a insert and how does it feel off the toe and the heel.
I keep a sleeve of the balls that I play in my truck. If I want to try a new putter. I will get the sleeve and putt with them on the putting green.

Looks nice. That new Ping PLD tyne 4 looks so damn sexy. Just can’t get myself to pull trigger for the price they’re currently going for

The Ping PLD Tyne 4 is a fine putter.
It's a smaller head than the Evnroll.
Ping has a new Tyne coming out in February called Prime Tyne 4.

I got rid of my Scotty. Not sure if it was a problem with it, or a problem with me.

There are some Bettenardis that got shipped to Costco.
B Series

Yeah there were some bad business dealings with a new South American distributor who seemed legit. Those putters were never intended for Costco. Last I saw, the remaining stock were tagged with "no warranty through Bettinardi" stickers
