PGA Tour won’t allow fans for foreseeable future due to coronavirus

Golf channel never shows coverage on Thursday's or Friday's until after noon or so

Would be surprised if this holds up, especially with every other sport shutting down. Hell I’ll be surprised if they finish The Players.

Every other sport requires close physical contact (other than baseball I guess) I don't see any reason the golfers can't continue to play golf. It might not be as convenient for them to have access to locker rooms or dining halls but they should still be able to play golf, keep to themselves and get dressed at their hotels.

That's the problem. These guys aren't going to drive everywhere and live out an RV.
Just playing requires flying and staying in crowded hotels. This exposes them to a frick ton of people and at risk to catch the virus
This is why other sports are canceling and skipping the playing without fans step.

Yea best case scenario is that they finish The Players this weekend. No way the tournaments scheduled for the next few weeks are played.

Personally I don’t get why they can’t finish this weekend (already no fans, players are already there and don’t need to travel) and cancel the next few, but you could see this coming a mile away.
