That couldn’t be further from the truth, says Grange general manager Barry Linke, who adds that both the East and West courses are already back in use.
quote:
“Both courses are now back in play, with members enjoying excellent playing surfaces. This is a credit to our ground staff, who have worked tirelessly. We will work with the LIV team to remedy the minimal damage to the course caused by the infrastructure, which has not affected playing areas, and look forward to planning the next event.”

The club also pointed to the results of its member survey that drew an 86 percent satisfaction rate and a mere 7 percent dissatisfaction with hosting LIV Golf.
quote:
Members missed eight days of play and received free tickets to LIV Golf on four of those days. Tee-times at other clubs were arranged for members to play during the eight-day closure,”

I honestly thought it was parody from the start. 6 months was way too long to be taken seriously.

Even the LIV fanboy accounts are talking about how the course is a goat ranch.

Did you see the patches at McKinney this week?
Palmer took a drop from the middle of the fairway on Thursday.
Sometimes courses have issues.

Pga tourney is over. I’m still watching golf. Kinda kills the “it doesn’t mean more golf” narrative.

Aren’t they in Tulsa? Tulsa been in a major drought the past two years they’re lucky there was any grass on the course!

LIV is in Broken Bow Oklahoma. How they pick their destinations is strange.
Saw where Chambo & Jones dropped out of the Lawsuit against the Tour. Do they have anyone left ?

Even the biggest live bot accounts on Twitter are admitting a tournament never should have been played on a course this poor. Yet our local tigerdroppings live fanboys deflect. Jesus, it’s sad . This course wasn’t fit for anything other than a beer league scramble

Cmon. It wasn’t nearly as bad. This is like the 5th best public course in Tulsa.
At least they had a great week from a competition standpoint. DJ and Cam in a playoff is exactly what LIV wants.

It’s a horrible course. I get it, but DFW probably only needs one Tour Event.
Keep the Colonial. Get rid of the Dallas Tourney and find some way to honor Lord Byron at the Colonial.

If you regularly attend PGA tour events and support killing the tour except for the majors, there is no rational conversation to be had. Supporting any player who left and killed the domestic tour is insanity.

Looks like LIV averages 437k viewers.
Twitter is saying that is some areas the CW network switched off the tournament and went with regular programming..

Oh shite, I didn’t realize the tour was killed. Guess I’m just uninformed, thanks for telling me. You’re definitely not insane
