Somewhat off topic, but if further proof that Brooks Koepka is a first class jerk/prick/a**hole, this video provides it.

Anytime you put your phone in someone’s face you run the risk of this. I hate how having a phone shoved in athletes faces should be accepted as the norm.

I don't think the phone was anywhere near his face. Koepka doesn't need an excuse to be a complete a**hole to the people who are responsible for him being able to make the money he is making.

I'm going for the first time on Thursday. I'm beyond excited. What are my pro tips for getting the most out of the day?

Quite simply, it's the best. It is truly one of those experiences that no matter how much it gets built up prior, the experience surpasses. I was fortunate enough to go on both weekend days in 2011 w my late father. We ended up purchasing masters folding chairs in the shop for only $30 each. They are a must if you don't have one you can bring.

Here would be my tips for one day:

Get there as early as possible and get a chair if you don't bring one. Have a way to write your name on chair or bring a business card w your name on it. There was a slot in our chairs to hold a card.

Bring binoculars.

If there is a definitive area you want to set up and watch the action proceed directly to that spot and then place your chair where you want to sit. You can then leave the chair and do whatever you want. NO ONE will move your chair. It's unreal. We found the area/slope to the left of the water on 16 to be our spot. It does get sunny there so be aware (sunscreen/hat). But that spot allows you to see all players roll through 6th green, 16, and have a great view of 15 green and scoreboard. I guess you could do a grandstand seat, but I don't know how you'd be able to keep that seat during the rest of day.

After placing your chair, go do whatever you want. I 100% would walk the entire course with your binoculars w you. Stay and watch players or greens. If you go around to the front of the clubhouse on Magnolia Lane there are complimentary photos they will take of you in front of the clubhouse. I have one of me and pops that I am so glad we made the effort to get. Make sure to go and buy stuff from gift shop after you have done all your walking and plan to return to your seat.

Mentally prepare for the fact you won't be able to get close to 12 and 13 greens.

Just take it all in as you walk around. It is literally the best conditioned course you will ever see. Flawless. After you go, watching the tourney on tv is a completely different experience.

If you find these tips helpful and it's not too much trouble see if you could pick up one of those large club glove golf caddy towels with the slit in the middle. Any color is good. I will pay you for it and for shipping, plus some extra for hassle.

I joke, but also serious.

I always wanted to go but not getting picked on lottery. Can you find tickets outside the grounds or is it not allowed?

He's played 9 holes yesterday & today. Weather forecast for tomorrow is rain all day so it is doubtful he will be able to play at all. Will be interesting to see if he plays Wednesday and if he does how many holes does he play.

Might be for the best that he doesn’t play anymore before Thursday.

Agreed. Last week, Sunday, and today were about whether he was capable of doing it. You’d think he’d know by now and wouldn’t want to expend unnecessary energy for another practice round if he has any intentions of giving it a go.

Unfortunately I think you're going to need to wear your rain suit. I hope you get to see some play.

Watching Tiger on the range working out of the sand and they're talking about all his injuries. Beginning to wonder if Tiger is part robot by now. My goodness, the toll on this guy's body.
