Ventus Shafts have taken over

Amazing how many guys on Tour are using them.
I assume most are using the Black Shafts.
I just put the Blue in my Driver and 3 wood.
Very stable and smooth shafts.

There is evidence that fujikura is painting the pros old fujukura shafts with the ventus graphics to make them look more popular. There is a photo on golfwrx of Rory’s “ventus” where the unpainted grip end is clearly a rombax which he has played forever.
I would also like to say I have a blue velocore in my 3 wood and it is extremely solid though might even be a little too stout for me

It went far. I liked the whippy feeling because it made me wait on it. I have a tensei orange now.

Interesting that you mentioned whippy.
Most Accra shafts that I have tried seemed to play stiffer than the stated flex.

Man that sucks.
I had a Grafalloy Tour Black Prototype shaft that the head pro at Kapalua gave me.
I used for years in several drivers and it snapped in half one day, felt like crying.
