Right.
But 2 wrongs don't make a right.
If someone is playing slow, that doesn't justify intentionally shooting into them.

I did.
Prick was like "can we play through or what?" "yeah, btw you hit into us without yelling fore." "you'll get over it."

No.
It was our first hole. we started on the back nine. Looking back, probably a mistake. But even on the 1st hole other people were teeing off on our time.
So you went to hole #10 and teed off when you were supposed to be teeing off on #1?
I’m not saying the guys should’ve hit into you if you were with a little kid, but you did a pretty shitty thing. I’d be pretty mad if a group jumped onto the course on #10 when they weren’t supposed to

BTW... do golf courses overbook?
No but they book up as full as possible so sometimes you may not be teeing off at exactly your tee time, similar to a restaurant making you wait a few minutes for your reservation even though you are there on time.

If you started on the back 9 without permission and you jumped a group making the turn, you deserved to be hit into.
Probably the thing that pisses me off the most is a group jumping in front of me when I make the turn.

I never play slow enough for that to happen.

I ended up getting it from the course marshall. He saw me waiting in line at 10. He told me nothing.

How old is your niece? Jumping ahead of someone with a foursome especially on a busy Saturday is Bush league

He saw you sitting there and said nothing to you because there were dozens of groups on the course and he had no clue who you were and what tee you you supposed to be on? Or, he spoke to you, knew you jumped to the back 9 and told you it was okay?

Did you have the course ranger or the pro shop permission to start on the back 9? When I started playing years ago I tried to play during the week, I avoided the weekends. I never tried to teach someone or someone provide me tips on the course especially on the weekends

I warned them and rhey didn't care.
You warned them?
How many times?
If you were playing at an average pace, then why did you have to "warn" them?
Seems like we may have one of those slow a$$holes who do not let faster/better players play through.

Only time it has happened to me, they apologized profusely and said they thought we had cleared the fairway. One guy in our group was in the woods looking for his ball and the rest of us were around the corner of the dogleg, so it made sense they didn't see us. We laughed about it and moved on.

Probably does the speed limit in the left lane and refuses to get over for others.

I had no idea they were even there. There was no one behind us when we teed off.
I warned them while waiting for them to let them pass at the next hole.
Stay judgy, TD.

What did you want him to say to you? Get in line like every one else. Jeez

Here's what I would tell someone:
"Hey, would you mind letting us play through?"
WOW. That was really hard to type.

Then why not just start on number 1 like everyone else? if you started on 10 without permission and then cut in front of a group on number 1 I’d happily hit down on your arse. I don’t understand why this is so difficult to understand.
You always Need permission to start on number 10 - geez.

So you jumped in front of them and slowed them down?

That exchange would piss me off pretty bad.
