Or LIV is just stiff arse competition at every event. 3 rounds is less room for error
Lol. I’m fair from a LIV hater but it ain’t this

Bryson and Brooks took the money for a reason. Both were trending down.

DJ is still world class. So is Cam smith. So are others on LIV. This isn’t a fricking LIV thing
Not sure why this is downvoted at all. Bryson and Brooks are world class players, recent major winners, and have fallen off a cliff.

Yet you haven’t been able to start a thread in here in months and not bitch about LIV

Brooks has always only cared about majors and top tier events so not sure why LIV would mean a lot to him.
You really believe that?

Well.. he’s always said he’s only cared about those. I think he cares about more than that and it’s a little bit of a try hard look, but if you take him at his word that’s what he truly cared about

You found the only two guys in the world who have performed worse than they did a couple years ago.
These 2 guys were in pure domination mode/truly changing the game of golf and becoming MEGA stars and now they’re trash and irrelevant and sad.
If they were on the PGA tour their performance would be shocking and a massive story.
Who cares if he got it from a tweet? Everyone who likes the sport has been wondering what the heck is up for a while now. He didn’t steal the entire premise of the post.

There are plenty that are performing worse than they did two years ago.

Jason day was a huge story
Rickie was a huge story
Somehow Bryson and Brooks tanking kinda has gone somewhat unnoticed

We have 2 guys who demanded the entire golf world’s attention 100% of the time they teed up and a good amount of time when they didn’t
They left to go to another league at the HIGHEST point in their careers and also at the highest point of the golf world promoting them
And now they’re sad nobodies in the grand scheme
You’re over here trying to be like, “why even bring this up? Molinari has fallen off since being relevant 3 years ago too. Plenty guys have down spurts.”
I reject your point

A couple differences between the pairs.
Day and Fowler were/are popular and perceived as being good guys. They are likable.
Bryson was sometimes petulant and almost always just odd. He attracted some fans when he went on his weightlifting kick to chase distance, but he was never going to be able to sustain his body, and he didn't.
As for Brooks, he worked so hard to be a "too cool for school" prick. Turned out he's just an insecure prick.
The second big difference is Day and Fowler didn't give up. They stayed on the PGA Tour and kept working. And they're both showing signs of improvement. It's easy to pull for both.
Bryson and Brooks, on the other hand, simply walked away. They quit competitive golf. They joined a third-rate exhibition league that very few people care about. Whether we like them or not, they voluntarily made themselves irrelevant.
And neither Bryson nor Brooks will return to their top form. They're playing three consecutive rounds every now and then in short pants in front of hundreds and shooting tequila with Pat Perez afterward. Their competitive careers are over. They are done.

Screw them.
I look at a guy like Louie and it makes me ill.
Ping stood by him in the lean years and now he wears that LIV team crap and bag.
I'd much rather watch the Champions Tour than LIV.
