BombSquad Golf -
Years ago I started on BSG which at first was very informative for Tour Issue Equipment and any new shafts on the market. But then the owner (Todd) got greedy and started just raping guys who had more money than sense for "Tour Issue Clubs"...
There was a Dentist from New Orleans that used to buy large amounts of equipment from him spending some big bucks. Last I heard Todd had some serious legal issues with the law and the site closed down.
GolfWrx -
Use to really enjoy this site. They would to let us form subgroups for golfers in your area and we use to have get together's with up to 20 guys playing different courses. I even had Callaway sponsor our outings with free balls and gloves.
I still belong to Wrx and visit from time to time, but it is not the same for me. It is a good source for everything new equipment related. And they have some good specialty club makers on there like Joe Kwok.
TourSpec Golfer -
This is a heavy Japanese club site. But it did turn me on to one of the best fairway woods that I have ever hit called Metal Factory. Too bad I lost it when my bag was stolen at a course here along with some Japanese Ping Rapture small offset irons that were awesome.
MyGolfSpy -
One of the best sites for reviews. I never got into their forums much, but it is a decent site for information.
Plugged In Golf -
I am new to exploring this site, but the content seems to be pretty good. I really need to explore it more. I saw it mentioned here too.
So what sites do you guys check out for the latest and the greatest ?

I have been looking for a good site to frequent. GolfWRX seems to be alright. I did like nolayingup but I feel like it has gotten really bad in the last year and quit reading it.

Seconding Random Golf Club and all of Erik's stuff on YouTube. Adventures in Golf series.
I met Erik at the PGA Merchandise Show and he was super friendly.

Yes they do. A guy can spend thousands on there.
They have some of the finest forged irons and wedges in the world on there.

I played in a Houston Texans tournament one year and a lawyer that was playing had a set of Homma clubs with Gold inlays.
I told him that I would be scared to hit them, he laughed and said one of his clients gave them to him because he was a little short on payment...

Yeah those are some awesome clubs. I wonder what those 1998 titleist replica irons made by Mirua will go for.

This site is probably my number 1 golf site.
I wonder over the NLU's refuge, but those guys love in the same 7 threads and there isn't enough turnover. Here there is a new thread for every minor topic. There they all seem to go back to the same long running threads. After spending time on here, I'm just not loving that style, as much.
Podcasts: NLU, shotgun start, and Fried Egg.

If y’all need a YouTube channel, may I suggest the Bryan Bothers. It is cool watching “Gerge” George and Wesley (on the PGA tour). Watching them go at it on matches is awesome, watching a PGA Tour Pro make certain club decision for certain shots, and how piss he gets when the wind fools with his shots to leave a putt more then 10 feet. And “Gerge” is a hell of a player as well. Great content.
The last video, Wesley discussed his play at the RBC, Travelers, and Rocket...coming back from a year of medical status after winning the Heritage.

This is old, but if you want to watch a great match.
Shell's Wonderful World of Golf featured a match between Bryon Nelson vs. Gene Littler at Pine Valley CC.
What a back and forth match. And the scores that they shot with that inferior equipment was incredible on such a tough course.
Really shows how the Pro's use to think themselves around a hard golf course.

Yep, watched it. That par 3 that Littler pumped right in the trees where he proceed to triple bogey the hole.
Another good one was Jack vs Snead at Pebble.

He was so smooth with that swing. They were hitting 5 woods on those par 3s that day.
