I have the P7MBs. Honestly I love them. probably shouldn’t be playing them but the feel is so good. I don’t really mind not getting rewarded for making bad swings/miss hits. I feel like they are making me be a better ball striker.

The first set I purchased were blades. Like others have said, there’s nothing like flushing one of those, but it’s hard to get consistent strikes unless you really work at it.

What’s the name of the red color on “baby blade”?
I’m looking for a red paint fill that stands out on my apex mb’s

Hey Mizuno just an FYI...Testors model car enamel paint is 100 times easier to use. I’ve tried about 10 different paints on my clubs and others with the best results being those little glass bottles.

I play the Miura baby blades as well. They will straight up force you to become a better ball striker.

I'm still rocking some MP-32s. S300, soft-stepped. Standard length, one degree flat. Not true blades, but close.
When I got them, I was playing double-digit rounds a week, working in pro shops, and approaching scratch.
Now if I'm lucky I play double-digit rounds a year, happy to shoot in the low 80s, depending on the course.
Need to switch up for sure but don't play enough to justify buying new irons (though I could steal back my old Eye2s I hit in high school from my dad).
Maybe when I move back down south.

Any type of Sharpie oil based paint pen works very well also. Even Callaway club customizer Anthony Taranto admitted he's used them before in certain situations.
But back to the blades, I just recently had an 2019 Apex Pro/MB that was nice, just didn't prefer the shafts in them. Blades aren't this big mystery to hit. You either hit them well, or you don't and your hand stings a little more. What I love about them is that the misses aren't long left or right, they just come up short.
But I'm back in some JPX 919 Tours that are a little more forgiving

This is my situation. Wasn't approaching scratch, but was plying a lot. I have the MP33s. I need something new, just tough to justify spending money on clubs when I play once a month or so.

MP 33's are a great iron and should not leave your bag. I have a set and they are some of the best by: Design, look, feel and performance.

I play blades but I have for about 25 years now. I am currently gaming some Miura 001s and really like them.

This thread made me pull out my blades and repaint the stamps, my first attempt at doing it.

I played these for 10 years. Best blades ever made.

I was considering the new Ping G425s to get more forgiveness. This thread has changed my mind. I need blades. Max Pain on a miss is the only way I’ll focus and get better. Those Wilson Staff blades must be mine

My dad used to roll with those when he was playing.
Incredible clubs.
