What do you do, and why do you need that much caffeine in a daily basis ?

Director of construction for a large residential construction company and have a side remodel business. I’ve just always enjoyed caffeine. Don’t really need it I guess.

You’re preaching to the choir. Bulletproof coffee is delicious. Don’t knock it til you try it.

I start the day with 18oz thermos of french press coffee + 200mg caffeine tab + 25mg of ephedra. yeah I know, that's a lot. 3L or more of ice water the rest of the day or sometimes hot tea in the afternoon during winter.

energy drinks - never, tried a few and don't see the attraction or like the taste

I broke my habit of cokes ~20 yrs ago but still have 3 or 4 cans per year

5-hour energy first thing in the morning. I've been tempted to substitute in a caffeine pill instead of the 5-hour. Mostly because it's cheaper.

I used to do the same with 5 hour. Started buying these instead. $18 for the botle of 500.

I drink a frick load of coffee, especially since I quit drinking 3 years ago. Instead of a beer on the couch I’ll have a coffee. I drink it black. It’s having more of an affect on my teeth than anything though which my dentist always reminds me.

I was never an energy drink guy but I fricked that up during last Mays turnaround. I got addicted to blooms and Celsius (supposedly 2 of the healthier options) and was having 1 per day but I cut that back to a couple a week.

Always hated pre workout. Never touch the stuff.

Every year I say I’m going to give up coffee for lent but never do

Ah, yes. Nothing speaks "good health" like cramming boiling water through thin plastic.

Yeah... it sucks. I don't use it very often.

It’s not the caffeine for me. It’s the cocaine that gets me.

My comment wasn’t about the nature of caffeine, but rather about Aubie’s unorthodox health takes and posting style.

You still haven’t answered my questions, but I appreciate the obfuscation.

What’s better/healthier lots of caffeine or small dose of vyvanx/aderal

Increases blood pressure and heart rate for starters. Creates a chemical dependency. I love people casually talking about caffeine withdrawal or headaches without questioning the health implications. It’s a chemical stimulant.

Again, quit it for a month, then start back. You will see and feel a difference.

The three most studied supplements are:

Creatine
Whey protein
Caffeine

All are fine. I’d be more worried about all the other shite in ‘energy drinks’ than the caffeine.

If you go through and actually see the amounts of each….pretty much minuscule in dosage compared to other so called health foods that contain those same things that we eat everyday

Just because a word seems big and scary doesn’t mean the chemical is dangerous especially when most fruit have more in them

Yikes, not trying to be rude, but I can't tell if this is a serious question or not, I would hope it's very obvious what the answer is, but if this is a serious question, stay the hell away from "vyvanx/aderal", please.

Caffeine is OTC in so many different formulations it makes one's head spin, humans have been tickling their CNS for thousands of years with it in some form or another. It hasn't brought about our destruction yet.

Vyvanse and Adderall are prescription only, controlled medications for a good reason. I'm not saying that they are bad necessarily, but those kinds of stimulants are in a completely different league in my opinion. Caffeine is far superior in health terms, BUT...I'm not certain what you mean by "lots of caffeine," nor am I certain what you mean by "small dose of vyvanx/aderal"?
