Anyone know anyone who has undergone stem cell treatment outside of the US for a joint injury? I have a shredded labrum and torn biceps insertion and trying to avoid surgery if possible and trying to figure out the facts vs fiction with stem cell...

I was just listening to Shawn Ryan’s podcast with Prime Hall. It wasn’t about stem cell treatment but at the end he mentioned having done it and it was like a miracle cure. That’s all I know about it though.

There some place in Mexico near Tijuana that Rogan went to. Google it. That’s all I got.

Money grab. The promise of regeneration is not there yet with stem cells. Especially for torn labrums.

Yep. Somebody I know who made an Olympic 5000m final when he was 24 years old suffered a hip labrum tear and thought his career was over. He went to Germany for stem treatment, and this was about 15 years ago. He was able to make 2 more Olympic finals

Randomized trials, the gold standard of evidence, have not shown any benefit
