What is everyone gonna do today for their rides? Drinking coffee now. Thinking I am going to have to take it a little easier today to give my legs a rest day, but, still want to get them moving. Thinking of a low impact ride.

My seat slider is stuck and has to be replaced. Anyone had this issue before? Peleton is sending me a slider.

Yesterday I did a 10 min core, 20 min low impact with Emma. Wanted a little more so I did 10 minutes of lanebreak.

I took most of last week off. Wife had a busy week with her job and had to work a couple of evenings, leaving me with the kids. One of my kids birthdays in the middle of the week, and other things getting in the way. So I jumped back in hard Saturday and Sunday. My thighs are aching today. Probably a 20 minute low impact at some point today. But I did hit a PR on a 30 minute ride on Saturday. Something to be said about 4 days of rest and hitting it with fresh legs.

I totally agree. Most times I PR is when I have been riding consistently and then take a few days off.

Did a 30 minute classic rock ride with Kendall. The ride peaked with a 9 minute progressive climb to freebird, in which there were two separate max cadence high resistance sprints.

Now if you’ll excuse me, I’m going to sit in a corner and cry.

I did this one last night as part of my "active recovery" for the week

It was definitely more intense than I was anticipating

Did that one last night in a session and had two people giving me a good fight for the lead. Ended up with my second or third highest 30 minute output over the last year.

Just went back and looked, and every time I hit a new 30 minute high was after 2-3 rest days. Certain days are better for me, like I realized I rode 5 straight Thursday nights, due to not being able to on Wednesdays. I saw a pattern of riding both days of the weekend, not riding on Mondays or Wednesdays, but almost every Tues/Thu I did at least a 20 minute ride. Then on Saturday afternoons I would hit a PR since I was fresh from not riding on Friday and being able to ride in the afternoon and not tired from working all day.

Usually classic rock rides are easy, kicked my arse.

Tried my first 45 minute ride last night. I survived, and feeling it a little more in the legs this morning. I was doing a mix of 20 and 30 minute classes the first few weeks. Then pretty much all 30s for the last 5-6 weeks. Figured it was time to step it up again.

Anyone have an opinion about the CAROL bike? I've been watching lots of reviews and reading about it, and it's supposed to use a gylcemic burnout to promote fat loss at a fraction of the time for regular spinning.

It has an AI system that constantly monitors your data and adjusts as necessary to make sure your burn is optimal. I enjoy my Peloton (well I wouldn't necessarily say enjoy it) but I'm very intrigued by this and the actual science behind it.

Today was my 8th day in a row. I have rode everyday since bike got fixed. Had to take an active rest day today though. 5 minute warmup-15 minute ride-5 minute cooldown. All with Kendall. Made sure that I took it easy on my legs for the duration of the ride.

My 9 year old rides. She likes the Lanebreaks.

I bought a cage that attaches on the pedals so she isn’t trying to clip in with my wife’s shoes.
