Thinking about ordering one

Anyone who has used or knows someone that has used have some thoughts/opinions?

It gave me anxiety. I was an early adopter and had the original one and the second version for a couple years. It’s useful but essentially sleep, eat well and don’t drink. That’s what I gathered from all the data.

Had one for about 3 years now. It keeps me getting enough sleep and not drinking later in the day and at night. I’m going to keep it, but you can probably wear one for a year and get all the data you want.

I have never owned or worn one. But, some guys I run with and work with loved them at first. I guess there’s a subscription? I know they all moved to a Coros or Garmin. Same stats, but functional and no subscription.

That’s how I felt. I wear a watch daily. Got a Whoop and it was a pain not having a watch on my wrist. But the Whoop on the other wrist. Looked stupid. Returned and upgraded my Garmin.

WHOOP doesn’t make sense when you can get a garmin that gives the same data with no subscription.

Whoop is really more of a status “look at me” piece I feel like.

Very well stated. It basically gives me a guilt trip every time I drink. My membership is up in November and I'm probably going to cancel.

I did a 30 day free trial, but decided against it. Whoop is good for fitness monitoring, but I found the interface to be sort of difficult to interpret compared to others. Also the monthly subscription was pricey. I went with the Oura ring instead. I’d suggest the 30 day trial.

I used Whoop for almost 5 years and recently stopped wearing it in favor of AppleWatch Ultra + Athlytic.

Whoop was great for me and I truly love the product. I quit drinking because of Whoop and it also helped reinforce quite a few lifestyle changes on my side.

Whoop is definitely a better product than Athlytic, but I reached a point where I wasn't gaining anything new from it. I could almost predict my Recovery score and all lifestyle changes had been made.

If you're interested, you should just do it and then put a stake on the ground on when you cancel (Probably 6-12 months)

It’s a solid device with some good AI features that can help answer questions and explain some of the measurables

It has a journal feature which requires you to answer a tailored questionnaire each day. I like it.

You can tailor workouts and it tracks your progress.

I have an Epix 2, love it. Thought about getting the Forerunner 965, but like the look of the Epix more.
