I have a small mig, but you can not put a spool gun on it. Any recommendations on a welder to use for aluminum that is reasonably priced?

for the price, i'd get one of the aluminum spool guns on amazon and the compatible mig to run it. Ditch the current one. You will need 100% argon iirc. I'd marketplace your current rig. Every welding job I do these days seems to pay for the welder.

Yeh I am leaning that way. Just looking to see if anyone has a recommendation. I probably wont get rid of the one I have.

Bought the tweco in 2015 for my 211i rig, it's been solid, but for the price, it should be.

HF has a new AC/DC multi-proccess welder coming out. I have a Titanium Unlimited 200, really looking hard at this new 210 AC/DC version.

Be aware, aluminum welding produces poisonous gases. You really need a respirator and well ventilated area.

I have an older miller with both a spoolmatic and profax gun. A guy I hunt with just purchased a Yeswelder and I was impressed with the results. It was pretty cheap for what he received in my opinion. Stay away from any "push" guns for aluminum. Pull or push pull guns work way better and you won't be throwing things.

All welding creates hazardous fumes.
