Great as long as you keep them clean inside. Otherwise they will develop door seal leaks and other issues.

Ours developed a leak a couple years ago and I relaced it with a Kenmore. TBH I never liked the Bosch to begin with, it didn't dry worth a crap.

We got the KitchenAid one with the top 3rd rack that is bigger. Believe it or not, I really love the light in it. It's quiet and does what I want out of dishwasher including actually drying the dishes using air AND an element.

Our only problem is this thing holds so many dishes that we used all of ours and still had half the dishwasher empty. So we got more dishes because nobody wants to run half a dishwasher.

it lasted 3 years. Pump went out had it repaired

This is apparently a known issue with a certain run of Bosch dishwashers. It gives you a E 09 code. I just replaced that pump on mine. It's an easy fix and the part is about $100.

OP: Use the Jet dry and it works great!

My favorite feature of the Bosch dishwashers...they have a red light that shines on the floor when they are running. If they didn't, you would have a hard time knowing they are even running...they really are that quiet.

recently has stopped drying worth a shite. Something must've broken or be wrong

I just thought that was a feature with newer dishwashers and government energy standards. My Bosch is 9 years old - middle of the pack model for them. It has never dried worth a shite, I just leave the door open for a couple of hours. It is quiet and cleans very well, and no problems in 9 years.

I have a Thermador, it's a Bosch. It's fine but I mean, my old GE worked too....

We bought the top of the line Bosch when the kids were little. We ran a few cycles trying to "dial it in" and found out the lack of a heating element was a deal breaker as it never dried the kids' plastic dishes. The little bowls and cups were literally dripping wet. We ended up returning it and installed a new SS Kitchen-Aid with a heating element and have had no issues.

I have heard people rave for years about Bosch dishwashers. We built a house in 2018 and Thermador was running a special then that if you bought 2 pieces they would give you a dishwasher free. We bought the pieces and went with the Thermador dishwasher. It has been great and I've always said when it goes out I would replace it with a Bosch.
After reading the responses hear and learning it does not use a heating element, that is a deal breaker for me. Warm, dry dishes is a big deal to me and if they don't have that basic feature I will stay away.

I had a kitchenaid that ended up having a wiring harness issue 5 years into ownership. Kitchenaid sent me a whole new dishwasher of my choice (up to the value of the original) directly.

In the meantime, I went shopping. Mildly disillusioned with the Kitchenaid brand (this was in the few days gap of my warranty claim) and really did not like the fit/finish/feel of the Bosch baskets. They all felt rickety. I think now days many of the brands have caught up with Bosch's low noise levels.

My replacement Kitchenaid is nice with the slim third drawer and extended heat dry cycle.

We have a Fisher Paykal dual drawer dishwasher that has been fantastic. It's quiet as long as nothing hangs down and rubs the spray arm.
