Give me some interesting projects for an angle grinder

Just got an angle grinder for father's day. So far I'm planning on using it to sharpen some tools and mower blades. Might use it to help cut through some brick siding to run a new exterior outlet. And thinking of using it to cut through a metal door to add a doggy door for the pups.
Any other interesting uses you guys can think of?

Depends. Is it a good one or something from Harbor Freight?

Safety glasses are a must. And gloves are your friend.

At our last house, the driveway sloped downward towards the garage. There was a crack in the driveway about 60' long down the driveway almost to the garage. The driveway was allowing a lot of water under it and it was causing a leak in the basement foundation wall. The crack was like 1/8th to 1/4 inch wide. I used an angle grinder to make the crack about 1/4 inch wide the whole length so that I could fill it with sand and then brush out about 1/2 inch deep. Then I poured in bottles of Quikrete Concrete Repair to seal the cracks. I couldn't pour it in where the cracks were too thin, so the angle grinder worked perfectly. Brushing in sand first kept the liquid Quikrete from pouring right through and wasting it. Not an exciting job, but it stopped a water leak issue on my basement foundation wall that wouldn't have been possible without the use of the angle grinder.

An angle grinder is a really useful tool for a number of things. As others have already pointed out, eye protection is 100% required at all times if you value your vision. If you're running it for more than 10-15 seconds, you really should have good hearing protection also.
A cutoff wheel is really handy for cutting metal. NEVER twist it while it's cutting.
A grinding wheel is really useful for knocking down metal burrs, sharpening, removing rust and mill scale, etc.
A flap disk (they come in various grits) is really nice for more finishing touches on metal or wood.
A wire brush is really good for removing heavy rust. I would add a respirator when doing it.
NEVER remove the safety guard! It's there for a reason.
Have fun with it, but never skimp on safety.

It's a craftsmen. This one I believe.
It's a common model, I have a Porter-Cable rebadge of it. Decent and inexpensive but don't push it, the carbon brushes are soft and will burn out easily and getting the right sized replacements aren't easy, I had to call P-C to get a set and it's a hassle.

Damn, looking at the specs of that thing and it said it is not WiFi enabled!
That is a deal breaker for me.

Read this and then read it again. That wheel is spinning hella fast and things go bad faster than a sub imploding under water. always keep both hands on the tool. A buddy had an angle grinder kick and sever his thumb and sliced across his hand before he could blink.
I hobby weld a lot so the angle grinder gets used heavy. Sharpening lawn mower blades is super fast and you can get them razor sharp. A sanding disc with 80 grit is good. I’ve had seized and rounded off bolts. Cut you a straight slot across the bolt and use a screw driver.

I installed mesh and aluminum gutter guards and it was my go to for cutting them to length.

When you go to get the blades specific to the task you plan on using the tool for, be sure to grab a good pair of goggles or wrap-around glasses for eye protection. And a well made filtered face mask will come in handy too if getting into things that make a ton of dust.
