Ground temperatures where I am is still 80 degrees. Still have no rain in sight either. Thinking of waiting till ground temps are in the 70s and rain is a definite. TIA

Yes, I’d wait; I’m personally in no rush to apply until the soil gets a little cooler and some rain is forecast to water it in.

I put mine down a week ago and watered in.

Speaking of, does this stuff at all stunt the growth of the turf? Tifway 419.

I don't know if you were saying you have 419 or were asking for the poster 419. Typically you can see something called root clubbing from too frequent or over applying certain pre ems (specticle, simazine, prodiamine) but it is rare and is mostly in St Aug.

That’s not an issue, better to apply too early rather than too late with pre-emergent.
