With those schools, I bet he transfers more than once.

Someone explain why he doesn’t fit Lane’s style

That throwing motion scares the crap out of me

Not saying he doesn't can't play in his style of offense. I just can't think of a QB under Kiffin that's really comparable to Haven.
Regardless of that, I still think Haven has a very long ways to go and probably won't be SEC starter caliber until around year 3. He has limitless upside but just isn't very polished and if he wants to play right away then I'd rather him just go somewhere else and come back later

He’ll just transfer back after a year or two

If Houston were 3-5" taller no one would give a crap about not being on Havens list.
That being said....Haven looks the part. But his competition isnt anywhere remotely close to what Houston plays. Houston is a baller.
I do wish he had the desired frame to garner the attention Haven gets..... bc he seems all in with LSU and thats what you want.

I like our chances against those schools the next four years…

Landen Clark. Don't count him out...
Last season he threw for over 2,300 yards and 18 TDs and ran for 300 yards and 5 TDs.

Haven is project QB if anything
Curious how you define "project QB".
I don't have a dog in the hunt and don't care where he goes, but I've seen him play up close and in person many times in his last 4 years. He's got the physical make up/presence, the skills/talent and good game sense. I'm not saying he's the second coming, but to say he's a "project QB" sounds like sour grapes.
There's a reason he's the #1 QB in the nation and has been a HIGHLY touted started since his freshman (or maybe even 8th grade) year and has been a starter since he arrived at Dunham.

Sour grapes? I could give two shits where Haven ends up. I call it like I see it. Very physically talented which is why he dominates in high school but he lacks the polish and mechanics you would expect for an Elite QB prospect coming out of HS. He won’t be a day 1 starter so his recruitment is irrelevant to LSU.

Auburn??
Florida???
This kid is an athletic 6'5" monster playing against a bunch of AA kids. We are talking schools with less than 600 kids attending. I am not saying he has no future or he will be a bust, but it is difficult to rate a kid when they consistently play against inferior competition. I'm not sure he is the "can't miss" prospect some people think he is.
.......plus, I have to question his judgement, simply based on his final 4, when he lives in Louisiana and Kiffin, a guy with a prolific offense, is our coach.

We’ll get him on round two. That’s the one that matters. Let someone else pay a premium to train him up.

That list is really only 1.
Florida and Auburn may be better next year, but probably not by much. Although 1 of them may throw a bucket of cash at him “to make a splash”
Crapabama will either be in a coaching search, or just hired one. How that is will tell if they remain on the list at all.
So Georgia is really the only answer here…as of now.
