i wasn't sold on long after he had a great last 2 years playing as a fricking 3-4 DE

then i watched him at the combine and he looked like a LB out there at like 275 or so

i won't lie, i expected a lil more. the rams do have some talent on the DL around him

That's debatable.

no, it's not

you can seriously throw a retard out there to play DT. it's the easiest position (mentally) to play in FB

Especially depending on the player himself and the scheme they are going into and coming from.

dorsey is playing in a system where he just has to be quick and penetrate into the backfield. that's his only job, and he has a DT next to him who takes on the center head up

Eh, he has been Ok(Better than Dorsey).

To be honest none of the defensive rookies have really stood out.

A lot of Mario Williams good season was because of the 17 year old playing next ot him in his second year.

*ETA: this year. other LSU DL have had a tough go of it lately. wroten, spears, lavalais (his was more effort and age tho). the only guy who hasn't been a disapointment is kyle williams

SloFloPro who recruited those players? What coach brought them to LSU? Perhaps Saban could pick out good College players but lacked judgement on NFL level talent. His coaching in Miami certainly would indicate that was the case.

Anyway this is an LSU Football recruiting board. Not an NFL Team Board. There is a More Sports Board provided for peoplle like yourself that love pay-for-play sports. Please go there and post your non-sense on that board.

Yes, it is. It's not as cut and dry as you make it out to be. It depends on a lot of things, as previously mentioned.

What's so funny is that you draw a distinction between CFB and NFL based on money.

A tip, most of the LSU players are in it for the money.

Those are just the guys LSU has a real good shot at at the moment, along with commits. Youll be able to take Ferrell off soon enough, and Sua Filo will take a mission, so he wont count this class. Helton might not end up in the class either. I think we sign between 23 and 25 this year.

The Chiefs should have confided with SFP before they drafted Dorsey so that he could point out that LSU's scheme sucks.

Surely that is something that NFL scouts wouldnt notice.

So I guess this means the coaches don't feel to good about McFarland/Sentimore?

You really can't say that. If the guy comes in a plays 2 years, you'd have an opening when they are Soph. considering they redshirt.

LSU by far IMO

With a JPW or Stafford or Flynn at QB, LSU wins by 2-3 TD's against Bama

Hicks can probably be converted to a OT just like Barksdale.
