I saw a twitter post that Weston Davis had the highest pass blocking grade in the country the last 3 weeks of the season. Run blocking grade was poor, but he's got potential.
Davis had a very good pass blocking grade in the bowl game. He played a lot better in pass pro after returning from injury.

The weird part about this is the first 9 games he played he never graded out higher than 67.3 pass blocking and graded out under a 35 in 4 of those games which is like as bad as it gets
He gave up just 1 pressure the last 3 games

Adams is already getting looks from other SEC programs as a Tackle despite your dismissive analysis of him and refusal to put any weight on the low penalty (compared to the rest of the OL) and sack numbers.
I said Adams would be a fine stop gap at RT; I'm pretty sure you said the same exact thing later in the same thread.
I dismissed the idea that he was a must-keep. Because he isn't.

You have your defenders here, but they most certainly aren’t in the majority. Enjoy them, I guess.
I prefer people like you that I can consistently make look stupid. Like when you were bashing Lance Heard last year now all of a sudden he is good enough for you.

Berry proved to be a fine 1B RB even as an undersized true freshman despite your protests and rants at anyone who said different.
Berry performed exactly the way I predicted he would. Not sure what protesting or ranting you are talking about.

I said it would be ideal to get a better LT and slide Adams to RT. I think he would be very good there. You were the one that called him a “stop gap” and not a priority.
Based on the fact that he will likely be cheaper to retain than an outside player with a higher rating, how many OL we have to replace, and how limited that pool in the portal always is, I said bringing him back should be prioritized. I still say it.
We aren’t that far apart on opinions here, but you talk endless shite and just want to stir the pot. Here you are doing the same tired shite again.
As for Heard- I stand by what I said. He was given the opportunity to win the RT job in 23 and couldn’t. Jones is an NFL player and he didn’t beat him out.
Heard took lumps all last year. Injury or not, he absolutely did not earn what UT paid for him and was the weakest link on their OL for over half of the season.
NONE OF THAT has shite to do with his improvement this season or the current situation. He improved. Awesome. I can change my opinion based on that and our current situation where we need a complete OL overhaul. That has absolutely nothing to do with Jones holding onto his job in 23 and Heard leaving over it.

He’s not a wide receiver.
Remind us, how many RBs did you have ranked ahead of him coming out of HS? Still standing by that?

I feel like I am taking crazy pills, and just had to go back and check to make sure I am not tripping. But you were the first one to start talking shite in this thread. The frick are you on?

Specifically on Adams. I said that right after discussing him in that post. It’s not that difficult.

I will say this; you have some big, delusional balls to even think you can talk shite to me about how Berry performed based on what my evaluation was.
What makes you think I wouldn't stand by that based on how Berry played this year?

If they go out and find a better RT cheaper, I will tip the cap.
But don’t act like retaining Adams isn’t a prevalent prediction across this board. Along with Curne, Echols and Moore, he’s the other most common OL most hope we will retain.
Adams will undoubtedly be cheaper than Curne and played much better than Echols. Tackles are almost always prioritized over Guards, as well. He has a specific value in those respects.

no one cares what you think because you don't know more than Kiffin or Glasscock, sorry.

A big difference between me and you is that I don’t pretend to. At all. Ever. This is a Recruiting Board on a fricking website and that’s all it is.
You know little more than most here. Same here. It’s all just subjective opinions. I’m ok with that. Are you?

I’ve been posting on this site for 25yrs. The frick you think?
Seriously, what a weird exchange.
