coach recruits players who he thinks will go to lsu.cant help it if they go early in the draft but a bright future awaits those who come to school ,get that education and go to the cws.

I saw Reide pitch last night and he sucked. His velocity is way down, 80-82 and he couldnt find the zone at all. He looks to be either hurt or have dead arm. New coach will have his work cut out with him

Redding Article
Now Redding faces a difficult decision. He has also signed a scholarship to Louisiana State, one of the premier programs in college baseball. The chance to play for LSU is enticing, but the chance to be a Dodger may be too much for Redding to turn down.
“Right now, I’m leaning towards signing with the Dodgers,” Redding said. “The money is going to be hard to turn down. LSU is a great program, and it’s good to have that to fall back on if something doesn’t work out. But right now, I’m leaning towards signing.”
ETA: Money talks.

He always has huge strikeout numbers and I hear he has a great slider. A future front line reliever?

possibly, I think he can start or relieve.

Chris Matulis is one to watch, IMO. I think he could break into the rotation.

Some great prophecy in these conversations from 2008.
