First of all.. I am a relative of BS and the Bama verbal will stick... A few reasons are the Crutchfield situation being that its his stepdad... As you all know South Plaq is in BFE and he wants to get away... He is a mommas boy and he wants to take his mom away from all the silliness going on.. And I dont expect CC to be going to Bama with them.. He was a LUS lock until all this stuff happened and when I was down at South Plaq for Mothers Day is when it all started to change...

And yes he wont make or break LSUs or BAMAs cass for that matter.. Those LSU fans who are bad mouthing him are fricking stupid..As well as the Awwburn fans... Before he hurt his foot, he was legit 10.4/10.5 and prob a better track prospect then football IMO.. This is a kid who doesnt even have a track to run on in S Plaq..And he will run track at Bama.. Most likely be an early enrollee as well

Capstone you are my favorite Bama guy on this site but this one will be stressful to both sides. He loves LSU but is being given bad info(and Bama is the king right now;for my money THE recruiting powerhouse in the nation so no knock for him choosing them)about the depth at LSU.He may stick with Bama and it wouldn't suprise me but in no way is this a done deal.Pops is in a bad spot right now and things are messed up at the moment but 9 months is a long time to have fans and fellow recruits in your ear about the school you love.My bet is that he ends up signing with LSU in FEB.Will be fun though.We(Bama/LSU) haven't had a good battle in a while and this one will be one to keep us talking.Bama will be fine at WR with or without him as will LSU.

I never try to step on toes on this site. I understand it's a LSU fan site. However, this one involved Alabama, and a player now committed to us. I felt it necessary to comment a few times in this thread. I hate to see some of the negative comments about a player choosing to go elsewhere. I don't remember many negative comments from Alabama fans when Jamarcus Russell signed with LSU, or even Sam Gibson last year. I would hate to see what happens if Rasco decided on Texas or Alabama.

I'm talking about leaving the state. Recruiting between Alabama and Auburn has always been dirty. It didn't help matters when he pulled his little stunt, and called the coaching staff vultures. Now he wants back.

Alabama is #1 at everything... They are officially the kings of CFB.

Maybe we should just join them...since we can't beat them as long as Saban is over there..

Can you, or anyone, explain this?

Capastone, please don't take my post as a negative. You have as much right to post as anyone. You don't flame. The kid is commited to Bama and it's good that you have an opinion to put out on this board. Some others may not like it but it's a free board that welcomes outside fans.As long as things are kept cordial I have no problems with any of your posts in this(or any other)thread. The badmouthers just don't understand how recruiting works. They have no problems when we get a big time kid from another state but it's sacrilidge if someone takes a kid out of LA.The world doesn't work that way.If the commitment sticks then more power to Bradley and good luck to him. He's fully capable to make his own decisions.I don't care what anyone says about the commitment sticking at this point, family,Bradley or anyone else.I believe that they feel that way now(or why commit)but 9 months(7 if an EE)is a long time in the life of a 17-18 year old kid that will have a ton of pressure to switch over and has expressed his love for LSU many times.Love doesn't go away that quickly. The only thing that will come close to convincing me he's a done deal will be if he leaves state for his SR. year. Then the pressure will not be there from LSU folks.Otherwise it will be a long cycle and many things can happen.Reed was set on Auburn last year and we almost flipped him at the end.Sylve would be much easier imo.His passion for LSU is more evident than Reed's was.

Look you're obviously enamored with the kid and that's fine. He's a nice player but not the world beater you're making him out to be in my opinion.

please show me where I made him out to be a world beater? trying to down play the kids speed by knocking his 10.6 as a soph then his 10.8 coming off of injury is ridiculous. I've stated throughout this thread that I think he's a difference maker b/c of his speed that LSU obviously wanted.

Your posts throughout more or less exhibit that. You've chimed in repeatedly about how big of a loss this is, how he has "rare speed", and now he's a "difference maker."

If that's not making him out to be a world beater... I don't really know what it is. You think he's a can't miss prospect and that's fine. We just disagree...

difference maker = world beater? WTF are you talkin ab? Charles Scott, Demetrius Byrd, Skyler Green, etc were all difference makers at LSU. never stated he'd be all-american, but he'd have been a very good addition to LSU's class and his speed is special as evidenced by his posting elite track times as a sophmore

They were all very good players... top 100 type of guys.

Sylve is not IMO.

Xavier Carter posted world class track times too and wasn't very good in his short time here.

I'm not going to get into a pissing match about Sylve to the point where I have to dog him to make a point. You and I share a vastly different opinion of the guy and that's that.

That's just plain stupid. Wouldn't his mom be going wherever Stepdad goes anyway? Do you think people in Baton Rouge would care what happened in South Plaquemines to the point that it wouldn't be far enough for him to get away?

I'd have a lot more respect for him if the reason was simply that he wanted to go to Alabama.
