Overrated in college. The only big check in their career will be their first.

Andre Smith just signed a 3 year $18M deal. Is that not a big check? Evan Mathis signed 5 years $25M deal before 2012 season. That wasn't his first NFL contract.
Making a point is fine, but at least be accurate.

Fingers crossed...maybe Collins will be the talk of college football before Cam enrolls in January. Don't take my posts the wrong way. I LOATHE Bama. If I saw Saban on the street I'd punch him in the throat. I also hate people saying someone chose another team because they themselves or someone close was paid off. I'm trying to show why Cam would choose Bama if he does in fact do so. I hope he gets on ESPNU and pulls a Bama hat only to piss on it on national TV.

I keep seeing this posted, yet Les has yet to produce ONE SINGLE FIRST ROUND OL. This is his 8th season at LSU. He's a former OL. Why can't he reel in the first round talent at OL? He's had no trouble doing it for DL and DB.
Bad luck. If everything went right we would have two first rounders in Ciron Black and Chris Faulk. La'El has first round potential. Jerald Hawkins could be a first rounder based on pure freak athleticism.

You really don't want to see him do that. You're a reasonable person. Obviously you want him at LSU, as I do, but like me, you'd rather not see him be disrespectful.

That doesn't really answer my question. Do you think there is better coaching at Central Michigan?
A player of CR caliber is going pro no matter where he goes. Of coarse unless he completely flops in college which I don't think anyone see's as an option

Miles hired Stud and has delegated Stud to recruit North LA. It falls on both, but Les shoulders the responsibility of the coaches on his staff. All part of that 4 million a year he's paid.

Evan Mathis has been in the league for 9 years.
Do you really want to go that far?
because we can discuss kevin mawae and todd mcclure
and Alan Faneca

No man.
He just pointed out those two. Look on the previous page to see the lineman they have in the pros and what they're getting paid. Pretty good like Flo would say.

You included Whitworth for LSU and he's been in the league just as long.

And how long has your current o line coach been at Bama?

I somewaht agree with that. But Studwra is more responsible than Miles. Miles has a ton of shite to deal with. I think Brick Haley for being a former NFL DLine coach is frickin overrated. A lot of LSU Dlineman get drated high opposite the OLine, but a lot go into the NFL underdeveloped lacking pass rushing moves and all.

But he's got two years of OL coaching experience to fall back on.

Coached by Saban 3 years, Miles 1. He was a first round pick until Miles fricked him up.
That's a joke for some of our new Rant viewers over here on the Recruiting Board.
