Possibly, but I think LSU would be lucky to have an option like Ty Simpson available at QB.

Same situation as Texas last yr. They want him to go pro or transfer so not to lose a highly rated younger QB.
The risk is he transfers then go pro, leaving you with slim choices late.

Simpson is better than both Sorsby and Leavitt. If you could get him you absolutely should.

Simpson threw for 3600 yards, had 30 TDs, just 5 INTs, completed 65% of his passes in his first year starting vs one of the toughest schedules in the country with absolutely no running game and a terrible OLine. Very smart and cerebral. Needs to clean up some things with accuracy but he’s a damn good QB. If Him, Sorsby, and Leavitt all entered the draft this year Simpson would go well before both of them.

Idk why people are so downvote happy when you mention Simpson.
He was an SEC starter on a team with a horrific OL & we have literally no QBs on our roster at present.
Would not be mad if we picked him up.
