Sad part is, this is their 4th LB commit and they about to add a 5th LB on Tuesday. These kids could come here and play right away rather than sitting the bench for 2 years. Makes no sense at all...

I wonder how much BBQs firing had to do with this. I know BDPs focus is Texas but the man could recruit.

A guy in another thread said he was the lead on him. Allen is also on a visit there for the Iron Bowl, or at least was yesterday. With that timing and emotion working against us, maybe with the right hire and cooler heads, we can get back in it.

Try three. This is the first year i've seen where we are losing our top three players to bama, Smith, Allen and you have to count Moses.

Looking at 247 ranking 4 of the top 10 Louisiana recruits are headed out of state. That doesn't even include Moses.

Expand to top 15 and 7 players are headed out of state.

Woof Thats pretty terrible. Hopefully this isn't going to be a trend. We do need some help at linebacker though. I'm not too ecstatic about having to move safeties into linebacking roles just because we can't recruit any quality ones from anywhere.

This just goes to show that O was a terrible hire by Alleva! More to come, I'm sure Saban will get who he wants now.

Saban always got/gets who he wanted. No matter who the coach here is.

Yet we still have a very solid class lined up. Normally I would expect the sky to be falling with those kinds of numbers. Strange year.

LSU is not flipping Moses or Allen. I don't care who would have been named coach.

We'll recruit the best players on our state first. If they don't want to come here so be it. We'll find guys who want to be here.

Booms will start dropping with recruits and coaches joining the staff.

We will not see that with this program under O.

And you know this how? Keyboard QB's and program builders are the best.

This just goes to show you are an absolute retard. Saban gets who he wants regardless of who the coach is at LSU. If you think Miles can out recruit O you have lost your mind.

1). Nick Saban is the best coach & recruiter in America.

2) Alabama has beaten us 6 times in a row. We have to win against them to truly compete with them on the recruiting trail.

3) Do we not think these kids and their families read these boards? Our fans are the most entitled and sad bunch for no reason at all because we haven't done anything worth a damn in 5 years. They notice the negativity and how we will turn on anyone in a second. All fan bases do this, but we are by far the worst.

It's not even fair anymore. When did Alabama become so untouchable.

We might ever win again till saban is gone

It's very clear they made the correct decision vis a vis their football ambitions. That is absolutely unarguable.

No it is not. Alabama is absolutely flush with LBs. The backup at Bama could be an NFL player and never get to show out. LSU is desperate for LBs. The playing time is there for the taking to show out. And our good LBs do very well in the NFL.

If by football ambitions you mean solely winning in college than perhaps. But Bama does not win these championships without Louisiana defections. Landon Collins, Cam Robinson, Eddie Lacy - they all sway the balance of power. You would think that kids who have pride in where they are from would want to be part of a group that turns the tide so to speak. Not be part of some machine that brings joy to the unwashed, toothless masses in the armpit of America as a way-station to the NFL.
