Nah. Saban couldn't give less of a shite about recruits being respectful in their decisions. Allen handled things a lot better than Moses did. Moses backhanded LSU every chance he got. If anyone was coached in what to do in this situation, it was him.

Said a week ago, after watching Southern Lab championship game and Under Armour game, I'd move Phillips over Allen.
I'd gladly take both, but Phillips is more instinctive and a thumper.

The good news here is that the staff took their shot, but they know he is gone too. Priorities will be focused on the guys still in play from here on out.

Chill out. Recruits do this all of the time. They don't want to make anyone mad. If they could, they would play with multiple schools at a he same time.

Great recruiting tool for Saban. "Hey here's another kid that grew up in Louisiana, Baton Rouge no less, coached by a former LSU QB, grew up loving LSU, dreamed of playing for LSU, but is going to Bama to be coached by me because we are just better". "You can love LSU but come play for me and win and go to NFL". Kids are too dumb to realize they make Saban and Bama. But don't think Saban isn't going to get as much publicity out of this as possible. He's going to Bama.

the guy reaffirmed his commitment on a Baton Rouge radio show and is still planning on visiting Bama this weekend. It's over, if you're expecting anything different then you're only setting yourself up for disappointment
