doesnt surprise me, he popped up out of nowhere over the last few weeks. Our chances at him, howard, and mario were always pretty slim.

CP said that CLM is telling him that he will be RR's replacement...immediately. CP said the other schools recruiting him already have the big, go to WR, but LSU doesn't. Also mentions that w/ the departure of Gonzales, CLM will be recruiting him until NSD.(or beyond, if needed)

I call bullshite, everyone has to prove them selves at the combine. It could be the diff btw a top five pick and a late first round. If a players film doesn't help him out, its not the qb. Stats don't tell the whole story. Even if the ball doesn't get thrown to you, scouts can still see you run routes, still see how good ur hands are when the ball is thrown ur way, can still see ur blocking ability on film. You don't have to have 1000k yards to get drafted.

Well Mario Edwards just said that he ended his recruitment and will stick with FSU and we are not the top 3 for CP so it's weak!!!

All players have to prove themselves in the combine. Film is a tool, but means much less to the scouts compared to a player's performance in the combine. Performances shown on film can be misleading because of the level of competition they're going against. It's more about how they do in the combine and pro-days.

None of the supposed "inside info" from Tennessee or the Auburn guy is a fact. It's just speculation. I saw 3 differnt final 3 lists last night and all had LSU with the other 4 schools going in and out. Just a lot of people with a dog in the fight assuming that their team is still in it and guessing on the other 2. The so called Auburn mod on 247, go read his post history on "the Blue Board" which is the national board over there. He may be a message board mod(I actually think he is) but isn't an insider. Anyone that reads the board over there often will recognize the LSU posters over there and a couple of them have "mod" titles on the LSU board. Means very little. Definitely doesn't mean they have inside info. I'll wait for something real to come out before believing it.

Yea. We got some future great players, but all in all it's a below average (for LSU) class. Dissappointing for sure.
Also really sucks to see Louisiana's best player go out-of-state for very sophomoric reasons.
