I have never been crazy about banking on Leavitt to start in 2026 with his injury. Williams Jr would be a dream come true, but is this real or smoke put out by others to gum up the works with LSU and Leavitt?

I think Williams the far superior option. But Leavitt is in Baton Rouge. The old saying “A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush” may apply here.

I think the best course of action is to get Leavitt signed while he’s sitting in front of you. I’d love Williams but I’d hate to see us lose both of them.

Williams is probably better, but “a far superior option” is a stretch. He’s not Dan Marino.

Well looks like it’s a moot point now with Leavitt visiting Tennessee tomorrow. I’d say the two most likely options are we get Williams or we lose both of them.

They might tried and he said he was going to take a few days to think about it. So Kiffin issued order 66
