Maybe Lamar will play OL after all.

Either way

You’re looking at an oline next year of Adams, Curne, Echols, Williams…… Need to be solid at center, but those four Coached up are gonna be a hell of a line

Has Moore said he’s definitely he’s gone to the draft? If not, he’s good enough to get a raise to stay. That will likely be cheaper than replacing him. If not, we are definitely looking at the portal for a starting Center.

I would spend big for the best LT available. Move Adams to RT and try to hold onto Willams as your primary reserve Tackle from the existing roster.

Curne and Echols have the makings of strong Guards, but we need some reliable depth. Brett Bordelon likely isn’t going anywhere, as Bo has been all-Tiger no matter what. He could maybe be a reserve C/G if he develops, but he’s still young.

I doubt we hold onto Thomas if Atkins is gone, and it certainly looks like that’s the case right now. They means we definitely need some OL depth from the portal and at least one more IOL who can push Echols and Curne for a starting Guard spot.

It may be a good idea to pay a limited enough amount to keep the young guys like Lee, Miller and Calloway if they’ve shown any potential. I think Bowl Practice will be huge for them and the Bordelons just to see what’s there at the tail end of the roster for depth and who can maybe start to emerge with better coaching.

I'm not making any excuses for how poorly our Oline played, but there were free yards throughout the year that were available if we just played with some tempo at times.

Ole Miss has been a run first team for the last 6 years. I trust the coaches to get these dudes moving in the right direction.

Coaching and scheme will show you night and day - we have some athletes and just be patient come portal time will see re-enforcements.

Do you see us dipping into the portal for anyone on the D line?

O line has been suspect since 2021 with the arrival of Brad Davis as the position coach. Even with two future NFL players in the line up, pass blocking was just ok. The run blocking was not able to open hole for the running back. This season they were able to block but could not hold their block long enough to allow running back to be successful. That needs to be fixed. Proper technique and a better scheme can change the outcome. Need the right O line coach to get the O line up to speed. Help in the portal will be vital but often the O-line prospects are lacking in the transfer portal. Hopefully that changes this portal.

The Miret kid that signed will be a legit center. If I read correctly he’s a high school wrestling state champ also? If that’s the case, the kid will kill it in the trenches. That translates into he’s very nimble, knows how to stay low and uses his hands well.

Just be like Indiana and recruit a bunch of 24-25 year olds with NIL money to play OL

O line, RB and QB are big issues. We needed more help on offense. We have to crush it in the portal or we are going to see another dominant D, with a sub par O again next year.

There were several hundred for yards available if the quarterback had just tucked it and run. And that applies to both quarterbacks not just Nuss.

Was the O-line layered with a bunch of sophomores and freshman playing this year with a few juniors. They just need to be taught better technique that goes with the scheme you trying to run.

I think we are ok at RB. Now, we wouldn't turn down Lacy transferring if he wants to. Berry and Durham are a good tandem. We just need O line to block for them and to actually throw the ball down the field instead of sideways.

Id say the major issues are S/C mainly weight. I think our O line guys could lose 15-25 pounds across the board. They'd be quicker and stronger. 300 lbs quick and technically sound is much more functional than 325-340 lbs. 325-340 lbs looks good on paper. To me our line looks slow and fat with no flexibility.

The biggest issue the Offensive line has is coaching and development. Get a competent OL coach in here to develop these guys.

Uh, our O Line sucked this year, but most of them were freshman & sophomores & hurt.

They'll be better next year. Chill the F out

If there is one thing damn thing I’m not worried about now is LSU’s ability to put points on the board. Kiffin will a way to score regardless of the personnel.
