I see us going three and four wide pretty regularly next year so I don't think that will leave anyone out in the cold on a regular basis.

I don't. I like the other WR's on our board right now. Given, we have to get Dupre and Noil, but I like the idea of getting those guys early PT if they're ready. Our WR situation is interesting right now. I think Beckham & Landry will go, but it's not a sure thing right now. Dural isn't a sure-fire starter next season either. There'll be competition at that position in the fall. I like the idea of throwing those freshmen right into the middle of it.

I guess he wants 400 yards receiving vs 1,000. AUB wont help him get drafted higher like LSU would.

Eh I don't know about that. It's not like Mett's returning for us. Another off-season of practice for Marshall will help Auburn's passing attack.

Exactly. Plus, having Sammie Coates, RiCardo Louis, and D'haquille Williams out wide will give Gus Malzahn the incentive to pass the ball more. Our vertical passing game will be even better next year than this year.

Best case for LSU, Saints and Quille.

Commit to Auburn Wednesday.
Enter the draft come spring.
2nd round pick to Saints for a sorely needed deep threat for Drew.

I think LSU passed on him a bit, but 'Quille will be awesome in Gus' offense. He'll put up big numbers.

I realize I am a middle aged dorky white guy, but let me put myself in his position. I am the number 1 JOCO receiver in the country. I want to play one year in college, and bolt to the NFL. I want to show my skills as much as possible so that I can be drafted as highly aspossible. The options are:

Option 1:
I could go to Auburn that passes for 1795 yards this season. Auburn was on National TV 4 times this season. Auburn is going to the national championship. The top receiver at Aubrun has 841 yards in receptions. Aubrun had no receivers earn 100 yards in receptions. The top 2 receivers earnd 1138 yards in receptions and 9 TDs.

Option 2:
I could go to LSU that passed for 3082 yards this season. LSU was on national TV 8 times this season. LSU is going to a mid-major bowl game. The top 2 receivers at LSU earned 2289 yards in receiptions and 18 TDs.

Which school would give me my best opportunity to shine? Tough decision.

I think he's closer to a 4th round pick at this point, just based on a lack of competition to gauge him against.

it is also worth noting that our top receiver and several of our other receivers missed numerous catchable balls. I believe coates catchable reception percentage was below 50%. Coates could have easily double his yards by catching some of those missed balls. Simply fact is our recievers were just not good. Quille could come in and be the no.1 guy right from the get go.

in order to be the number one guy at LSU wouldnt you say OBJ and landry would have to go? and yall are breaking in a new QB as well.

At the end of the day it is so hard to gauge what in the hell he is thinking as he is a complete enigma

but I think Auburn will be significantly more balanced next year once the Qb gets a full off season to work the offense. He has a good arm and some talent, he just has to be more consistent. Working with the play book and receivers over a full off season should result in a small bump up from his 60% completion percentage this season and approximately 5-7 more pass attempts per game.

I was shocked to see NM's numbers. He was consistently in the 200+ ypg average.

he essentially missed two games and two other games we didnt need to pass it at all for the simple fact that we were getting 8-9 yards a carry on the ground
