All SEC QB. I'd settle for that.

I love when people say this. Do people not realize how much money 3 million dollars is? If you are smart with it you can live very comfortably for a long time no matter where you live and he was still getting a paycheck while in the minors and majors.

$3mil after taxes for a kid still in his mid 20’s is a pile of money. I don’t know what he did with it, but had be invested in the stock market the past few years he would have way more than $3mil.

Well I guess there is an upside to the fact that he hasn't been around longer for more than a cup of coffee on a major league roster?

Didn't he make it to the show at least for a little while? If so he's ineligible to come back I believe.

It worked out a helluva lot better than anything we've had since 2008 that's for damn sure.

Lee's like the hot girl you dated a while who left for Hollywood.

You didn't even date her. She kissed you drunk once and strung you along after that making you think you would date.

He did make the All-SEC team so not too shabby.

Josh Booty also came back after playing for the Florida Marlins. Come on down to B. Rouge Zach. You could start immediately!!!!

Booty was TERRIBLE... an interception machine just waiting to happen. Made up his own play and lost to UAB.

The fact that he was All-SEC is much more of an indictment on the poor QB’s in the SEC as someone already stated as well.

His “best year” was 50% completion and 17 TD vs. 15 INT.

Josh Booty LSU stats

Still pisses me off that he kept Rohan off the field.

no one is saying josh booty was great. The point of bringing him up is he came back from MLB which is something Zach Lee can still do. Your point is moot.

Several were lauding his All-SEC performance.

I'd live to have the problen....but if he stays there, he'll have to find employment

Really trying to figure out how either of you thinks you have a clue as to how much the guy has in the bank. Some inside info you both somehow have? Or is it that you just think you're right when neither of you actually is. Amazing how people think they really know what the financial situations for anyone but themselves actually is. Stop assuming you know things that you literally couldn't possibly have any clue about.

It’s nice, just not the FU money everyone is looking for. Generally you can count on about 3% for your annual income, so $3 million yields about $90,000 per year. You have to pay some taxes on that, though some would be capital gains. Let’s say $65,000 after taxes. It’s a living, but no sportscars unless you supplement with a job.

Booty did it. Mauck did it.

Brandon Weeden spent 4-5 years in the minors with the Yankees, Dodgers, and Royals before going to OK State.

It doesn't always work out like that, but sometimes it does. Every kid is different. If the coaches think he can be good enough to start for the team and be productive, then by all means, come on down. Using one guy as a comparison is a terrible methodology.
