Genuine Question about coaching changes.

When a head coach and OC leave to goto a different school - do they switch up a ton of the play calling and offensive strategy?
For instance, will our offense look a lot like Ole Miss last year? I just think the defensive coaches from OM would know too much info so I wonder how long it takes to fully rebuild that

Some will depend on the players available as to what you can successfully run, but you can break tendencies in the OM game and even use their knowledge against them.

It will generally look like the Ole Miss offense with a little tweaking to suit the strengths and weaknesses of our personnel. It will look much better, mostly because they'll be wearing purple and gold.

Yeah I was thinking on the opposite side I'm sure Lane Knows how to exploit and rip Golding's defense to shreds from doing it in practice so much

First, good offensive coaches build a decent amount of redundancy in their offensive sets. This way, that can give a defense the same or similar look and attack it differently, keeping them on their toes. Secondly, they’ll likely change some of their on-field termonology, suck as audibles. Teams do this from year to year, anyway. But they don’t always go with a full overhaul. They might just change out a few words, or even flip flop a couple. In this case, you’re probably looking at more of an overhaul. All that said, I don’t know how Kiffin’s offense works. He may use hand signals or sideline images…or a combination of all of these. That may make verbiage change less important.
