He looks like a good one but I’m kind of confused by his offer list. Outside of us seems like Florida was the only other big player to offer him.
He got offers from Baylor so obviously Aranda and Meatball like him.
Ms state and ole miss were the only other two SEC schools to offer him.
He’s the 7th highest rated recruit in Louisiana why aren’t more schools on this kid? What am I missing?

Plays at a smaller school, hasn't been able to camp, very raw prospect that's only scratching the surface of his potential. He was mostly unknown until last year when they won state.

This is one of those river parish kids who is super raw that the coaches hoped nobody else knew about. He is one of those sure fire Louisiana prospects you will look back on and say “remember when Savion Jones was kind of an unknown?” Dude will be an animal playing end eventually at 6’5 260.

This could be one of our best big man classes in a long time when combining the DL with the OL. I actually can’t think of why Smith is waiting because I’m pretty sure that he knows where he wants to be. Add Foreman with Jackson already committed and you have one of the most athletic DL’s in the country. Combine that with what is already here and it would be safe to say that LSU is back when it comes to competing with the big dogs in the trenches once again. We are finally going to have a nice 2 deep to work with.
With the OLman who are looking hard at LSU and will likely land at least 2 of the top 10 tackles while also landing 2 of the best interior lineman, LSU will be sitting nicely at the end of this class.
You can say the same about the linebacking depth also. Everyone knows that our DB room is extremely talented as well. Scary defense!!!
