Look for it...I think Chief can see that in plan view from the Coach's Box..

quote:I talked to a pay site writer a couple years back and was told that Bama out works us in recruiting. Frank has improved this, but looks like it's still an issue. The days of assuming LA kids love LSU and taking them for granted are over. If its not, we'll stay right where we are- chasing Alabama in the rankings, standings and recruiting trail.
Napier and Saban are working that area harder. They call more, they text more, they seem to field better relationships. They skirt the rules sometimes with us scheduled "run ins" that hit the grey area of recruiting.
WISE THE EFF UP, Leslie!!!!!!!!!

$abun is all over him called him in the last 48hrs. Miles called him last thursday or so.....he couldnt remember.
That's why he laughed at that point, because it was a stupid question. He had JUST SAID he was at the Bama game Saturday, and then they ask when's the last time he spoke to Saban??

quote:Eff no, but to a high school elite football player, he ain't talking about the general public. He's talking about who HE is in contact with. It ain't even 80%-20% LSU.

But...
People are right that LSU better get their heads out their arses and plug the leak...even if it is a small one. Small leaks become big leaks if left unattended. Need this shite shut down with the quickness.

More like 75/10/10/5
75-LSU
10-Arkansas
10-Delusional LA Tech
5-Bama
Bama fans are 99% women or "that guy" that are fans just to piss off everyone else in the room. The delusional Tech fans I speak of are the ones that think Tech is one class away from becoming a major player. It's quite comical. Arkansas fans have taken a dip since "40 Minutes of Hell" is no longer.

The only part of that interview that sounds more favorable to Bama was the part about LSU is like family and Bama is like family but also business. Nothing else was more favorable to one or the other. I think he is still 50/50 and his mom's influence will be the deciding factor.

I dont even understand how college football can be considered business if $$ aint involved..to me business usually means non-personal..and non-personal wouldnt be like family..business sounds like "come to work do your job and go home"

I stand corrected
You are correct.
I sure as hell hope LSU isn't getting outworked.

I feel like getting someone to stand outside the Football Ops Center with a big sign showing a quote from Coach Dietzel:
THERE ARE NO OFFICE HOURS FOR CHAMPIONS.

Well, he did say that Bama was like family AND business. By business I'm guessing he's talking about learning how to be a professional at your craft to get to the NFL.
Posted on 10/21/13 at 10:28 pm to MontanaTiger
Exactly what he means. A pro atmosphere. He has a choice to either become a Louisiana Legend or some guy that played at Alabama. He may not realize this now, but that's how he'll be remembered 20 years from now.

Bama totally outworked LSU on Hootie. He was all LSU at one time. LSU needs to figure it out, b/c a month ago was totally different.
