Bama so nothing will happen to them.

Hmmm, could this be why they rushed CR to commit
No that was Coach Shows. CROB and his handlers were becoming a huge distraction. CROB was going to string it out but WM coach put an end to the charade. One handler was removed from campus on multiple occasions. There is definately shady business going on from what I heard up there.

I know it was Shows, I just want my little scenario to be true, too. Bet they never mentioned a possible NCAA Investigation to the recruits.

Yes Saban admitted in his new conference today knew about it for weeks now.

You guys must not of heard all the shite about "the handlers" like me have over in South Alabama with Fluker and the strange last minute transfer to Daphne High away from school in Florida where coach didnt like Saban etc. Wasnt there a "handler" too involved with the Luther Davis the current bagman in the yahoo story?
Kids were paid from day one.

Why is West Monroe putting up with this shite?
Posted on 9/11/13 at 11:10 pm to supersaints9
That is the question. I understand how this stuff happens in Alabama, but how is it happening in Louisiana? The almighty dollar, I guess.
When I heard about a little colony of Bama "fans" in West Monroe wearing Bama gear and yelling "Roll Tide" and them being connected with Cam Robinson, it became pretty obvious what Saban has been doing.
You see his presser today? He is trying to intimidate anyone from asking about it, which is what he does when he is nervous and unsure about how things are going to turn out.
All that he built will one day crumble . . .

How do you let your son be handled in this way??? NEVER in my life would I allow this!!!! I don't care how much money is thrown out there!!! In fact it would do the opposite for me!!! Effe bama and their staff behind the staff! It will catch up to them! Kids will eventually not play with heart and spirit, and down they come! Look Texas..... To be continued! I LOVE how dirty they have to play to beat the TRUE king of CFB in THE LSU TIGERS! This article about Les will fire him up and the opposite with Saban, watch!!! Can't wait to play em this year! I don't care what people say this team is pretty damn good and will be very very very hard to beat. If we beat GA in dominating fashion which I can really see happening, this teams confidence will sore, but our PRO coaches will calm em down, and make em play one game at a time. I much prefer our staff over any in CFB right now!
Time to put bama in their place and take our rightful spot back at the TOP! Now if only we can convince our own LA recruits of this truth...... Come on boys from the boot jump in already and lets take em down!

This is looking the whole NC situation to me. Handlers get players, meet at 7 on 7 whatever or can be family member (Always freaking Uncles) steer to certain schools in this case Bama (gets paid by agent) where coach or administrator will keep eye on his investment and try to make sure he is the agent when draft arrives. Handlers at school get prospect any walk around money he needs. this was all laid out in the book confessions of a sports agent.

I mean at least get it right dude. Fluker the Katrina refugee lived in Biloxi for a bit and then mobile. He eventually transferred to foley and spent many nights with his family sleeping in his moms car after the hurricane. I think it's true that a lot of the refugees were nomadic in the years following the hurricane, considering they lost everything and all. Daphne nor the state of Florida weren't involved with Fluker.
You're thinking of Darius Paige, but this Fluker news just has you worked up into a paranoid tizzy

I noticed this immediately. Posters on the other thread were saying how he was intimidating the press. That wasn't it at all. People bluster when they're backed into a corner. The media saw through him, IYAM. They're going to be grilling him from here on out, for the first time since he's been at Alabama.

The most that will come of this is maybe a couple of scholarships lost. Won't go any further than that. If the NCAA had any competency, it may have been more. As we all know, they don't have a real system in place or the investigators to do anything about it. That and Mark Emmert is Saban's bff.

I'd be surprised if a whole lot comes of it in the way of sanctions. The big thing is the effect on Saban's aura of invincibility. The secret to his success is not that he's smarter than everybody else, or that he works harder than everybody else. It's that he has more money to spread around and people in his university and the NCAA who look the other way while he does it. Some of us have known that all along. Everybody else is finding out now.

Fluker was at Pass Christian not Biloxi I remember that much. They did a big WLOX special and I would swear we wnt to Woodham from there then Foley. Sorry I always get Foley and Daphne mixed up. But you may be right about the rest or all that. I dont remember him being in Mobile.

Wiki says Biloxi so maybe I am just losing it I would swear it was PC. But you are 100% correct I am merging two players into one, Sorry going from memory getting old.

Originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, Fluker and his family left the city in the final hours before Hurricane Katrina roared ashore.[2] They moved to Biloxi, Mississippi, and later Mobile, Alabama, where Fluker attended McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. By eighth grade, he stood 6-3 and weighed 400 pounds, but later lost much of that weight.[3] At McGill-Toolen, Fluker was a dominating defensive lineman. Family issues took Fluker back to Biloxi, for his junior year, where he remained at defensive tackle.
Prior to his senior year, Fluker moved back to Alabama—this time to the city of Foley. At Foley High School, head coach Todd Watson convinced Fluker to play on the offensive line to exploit his full potential.[3] In his first year at offensive tackle, Fluker graded out at 92 percent with 60 pancake blocks and 28 knockdowns. He earned high school All-American honors from USA Today, Parade, EA Sports, and SuperPrep. He also received an invitation to the 2009 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Considered a five-star recruit by Rivals.com, Fluker ranked first among offensive tackle prospects in the nation.[4] Despite growing up an LSU Tigers fan, Fluker committed to Alabama.[5]

This is why I despise Shorty so much...he is merely a facade...phony in every aspect of his life...personal and professional!

I'd be surprised if a whole lot comes of it in the way of sanctions.
