His profile is private so I can't speak to what he posts there, but it does say he studies at the University of Oregon. I would think if he was updating his profile so much, that would be changed by now.

I believe he was supposed to be on LSU's campus last week or this weekend but never heard if it went down yet. Previously I heard GT was in the lead but LSU was making a strong push. Gonzales told him he had a spot if he wanted it.

Wouldn't surprise me if it was LSU. Wonder if Avery Johnson was in his ear.

I don't know how to quote post on here I'm sorry but I meant it to the guy who said he should have it changed from UO to LSU on his FB page
DeAnthony Thomas still has his school listed as USC even after he picked UO to go to school
He also announced he would go to UO before the media reported it

If true it'll be up on one of the major sites soon. If he was supposed to be visiting last weekend or this weekend I'm inclined to think he's just saying he's at LSU.

his Rivals page says he is choosing between GaTech, Miami & LSU
quote:

Four-star 2011 Chaminade Madonna (Fla.) quarterback Jerrard Randall committed to Oregon to play football in June of 2010, but he didn't initially qualify and needed to retake the ACT. After getting his score, the Ducks gave the talented signal caller the cold shoulder. When Randall eliminated Oregon, three schools stepped up and are willing to take the fleet footed quarterback.

If you guys care at all this was the write up I had for him when he committed to Oregon. Just trying to let you guys know what you got:
If anyone cares I'll be looking at some Oregon signees and post a couple videos of each one and what I think about them

Jerrard Randall Ht: 6'2” Wt: 189 40: 4.46
QB #17 Chaminade Madonna College Prep
Rivals: **** #10 Dual Threat QB #41 Florida
Scout: **** #11 QB
LINK
Pro:
Looks fast and this is against Florida competition.
Big time arm.
Can break tackles with jukes and mow over kids.
Ran the same type of offense at Chaminade Madonna as he will in Eugene.
Good leader according to his team mates.
Gives it his all every play.

Con:
He looks like he takes a step with the ball every time he throws it.
Seems like he stares down his #1 target a lot.
Once he runs he doesn't keep his eyes up he just runs.
Kinda lobs the ball a lot.
2.7 GPA and 19 ACT goes along with the tag of a bad decision maker.
Played on a talented team which could have made him look better than he actually is.

I'm surprised this hasn't Been whacked yet without a credible link. If true this gives us a great deal of depth at the position.

I aapologizze, I should have previewed it.
I would have remembered the Herald's video page is screwy.

go to this page, LINK click on "All Videos" below the green dividing line an just above the blue dividing line, The video is the 16th one (fourth row last video on the right).

I thought I recognized the site. I remember the trouble we had telling people how to view the Avery Johnson highlights.

Nice

I want to see more of a pocket passer though. Given the offense he ran in HS I doubt I will see too much of it.

hopefully he talked to Ware, RR and Shep about switching positions.
Lots of history on the Ponderosa with switching high school quarterbacks to wr and rb.

K. Faulk
J. Reed
Doucet
Addai

and many more!

If this guy comes to LSU, I want him at QB. Great speed and athleticism, and has a cannon for an arm. Let Krag get a hold of him as well

Just noticed something VERY impressive in his video here: LINK

Watch at the 3:05 mark. He rolls out the pocket and points near the corner of the right end zone, yet throws to the guy right under the goal post. Only thing is there is only one receiver on that side. He pointed that way to get the defenders to lean that way, giving him more room to get it to the guy in the middle.

You can pause at 3:06 and count the two receivers on the left, the TE comes out off the left side, and a RB in the back with him

This dude has a cannon of an arm, and he's super quick. I hope he comes to LSU and stays at QB.
