So, if Slade was your kinfolk and signed with Bama you wouldn't pull for his team? I don't see where JJ ever said he was 100% LSU nor did I see where he said he was gonna be 100% Bama. And I don't know who JJ is.
Now I will add this-I'm not kin to Slade, think he's a helluva kid and a darn good football player, but admit I'm disappointed every time a big time West Monroe kid signs anywhere but LSU. That's just the fan in me.

Good post.
I believe I do know who JJ is and if it is who I believe it is he is an even keel dude already.
Just supporting his kin folk and that is totally understandable.
He may feel jaded that LSU didn't show the same love for Bolden. But, I see where LSU truly thought they had better players higher up they could get.
Bolden is very good, but he is not a can't miss prospect at receiver. I still believe LSU will get Chase, Marshall, Jason, and Keys in the end.
One thing though about Bolden that says we may regret getting him later on is how he has gotten significantly better each season since his sophomore season--that year he did not play well.
My worry has always been with WM athletes is them tapping their potential early on because their coaching and strength and conditioning is so outstanding. Mingo, James, Robinson, etc.. are players that either didn't play early in their career in football or came from another school and were raw. Hutchinson will fall into that same boat.
JJ is a solid poster. Hate to see him go to the dark-side.

If my nephew or cousin signed with bama I hope HE has a good but not bama. I would never pull for them that's how much I hate bama but that's me. JJ27 can do what he wants thats his life and I have no problem.
