pretty average at the Auburn camp
There's a simple reason why he didn't get offered by Auburn... He's too tall to chop block.

Judging from this kid's picture, if he really runs in the 5'2 range, he should be a take. That is just a grizzly bear looking guy and he just finished his junior year. F it, if Miles wants to take a gamble on him, it is fine with me. Maybe he thinks the kid could be a Big Herm.

Does this kid Williford have shitty film or what? I'm not going to even watch it, because I won't be able to tell shite from it.

I think most of his film on rivals and scout is from his sophmore year. Not positive though.
I'll say this much, from his pictures he doesn not look soft.

From reading other posts and boards the Bama boards seem to think the kid has talent but they didn't have room for him. I think they were going to ask him to grey shirt. I think there are many more details to this than we know right now.
The kid said that his junior year was his first to play OL which is probably why his videos look somewhat incomplete. He is probably a much different player now. I trust the coaches on this one. But like many fans I will have my doubts until I see or hear more.

Hard to tell from his film because he makes the d linemen look like little kids in the video.

Yeah, that is what caught my attention. If he can run close to a 5 flat, then he probably can be molded pretty well. I don't know if you ever saw him in high school, but Kendrick Allen played at my high school's rival (after I graduated). Everyone at our high school thought the guy was waaay over rated and wasn't all that great. He was still, really highly rated on rivals and all that though. I guess what I am saying is, I think it is just really hard to project what these lineman will do. All you can do is look at there measurables really. This Williford kid might have the shittiest coach we have ever seen and just needs to be tuned up.

I remamber him saying that he learned a lot this summer in camps, especially from the LSU and Ole Miss coaches. Tells me that he is coachable, and had a lot to learn. Not all high school OL coaches know what they are doing. At many small schools there may only be 2 coaches on the offense and neither may have a background with lineman, and often have very very basic coaching techniques for them. Like the old stay low, drive and use GOB (gap 1st, then man on, then backer).

Outstanding work, FUBAR. That's one of the best lines I've heard on here in a while.

But i seriously don't think this is a year to take a chance on a project guy like this. Barkevious mingo is already raw enough to be considered a project
As opposed to say 2004 when we had the #2 recruiting class in the country and still found space to offer 4 2* players?
If this kid was our 1st round draft choice I would be upset, but he's not. He is 1 guy of a recruiting class of around 20 or so guys. Did everyone expect us to fill out ENTIRE class with 5* prospects?

This is tiger droppings, of course they did.

What was wrong with Robbie "that" Green "kid"?
Did he screw up or was he just not a good player?
