There is a huge and I do mean huge difference between saying something nice after a visit, being “high” on your host and saying what ole Kardell said. Read it.
Kardell is committed in name only. No sensible person could read what he said any other way. Now if we beg and plead, maybe he’ll come back a bit but I don’t think you can take back the crap he said.

This kid isn't going anywhere other than LSU. Visit high at its finest.

There is something so demeaning about this whole process. Grown men whore themselves out to children to keep those big paydays coming in. The kids, often from the very fringes of school/society, soak up that temporary celebrity and milk it while they can. Truly, any school will do for Kardell. He ain’t there to learn anything, assuming he could. It’s a formality until he’s draft eligible. The whole charade, I repeat, demeans the adults and cheapens the schools. Embarrassing really.

QB situation have anything to do with this?

If anything our current one should help, post Jeaux. But it has nothing to do with it in reality. Recruiting games..they all play it.

For all we know he could be repeating a script our recruiters planted for him. I will not put it past O or anyone who has years of experience of recruiting to tell these kids to party and take advantage of fringe benefits (wink wink) and say chiite to play with other programs.

Could be a way of getting back at them for Wilson and planning another such outcome for Jimbo and A&M. Bama, Jimbo, Urbs...they all do this stuff. Not saying it is 100% the case here but it kind of smells like it in a way in all honesty.

Lol what? No he didn’t. His recruiting process was featured in a book that was written by Bruce Feldman. He did not write the book.

Are people downvoting because they don't believe these quotes are authentic or because they think they're real and it's not good for us?

People deny stuff for so long on this board, then when the guy flips you say he's a piece of crap for changing his mind out of the blue, when then evidence has been there for some time.

Actions speak louder than words. If the guy's taking visits then he's feeling out other schools, obviously. If he's not taking visits he's solid to the school he's with. Simple as can be.

Board has some serious amnesia. Long time commits flip every single year yet no one thinks it'll happen with any given guy.

Let him get home and have his mom slap the frick out of him...case closed

It's always cool to go on the road TEMPORARILY knowing you get to go home to momma and family. Being permanent is much different.

Probably got some pussy and a handful of cash. It will fade.

Gdammit I sure hope so!

Never heard a super five star guy committed to Bama roll out and talk this kind of junk. Saban wouldn’t allow it and the recruits know it.
I knew this was a sketchy deal when On OTB they asked him about a recruit that committed to LSU from HIS high school and he didn’t even know it. You would think the “lead recruiter” of the class would surely damn well know this.

I dunno man, most kids don't engage in these sophisticated schemes to deceive other programs on behalf of the school they're committed to.

I take these kids at their word. That way you don't get blindsided when they bail for another program and the clues were there all along. Maybe he was rock solid to LSU a week ago and he's not today. Maybe he'll flip back to 100% LSU, maybe he won't.

What else is he going to say, really? The FSU visit sucked. He probably got laid. He's LSU give this visit a few days it'll wear off.

After all the shite we have seen in recruiting lately. I am not buying it until he signs the dotted lines on NSD

How many times have we said there is no chance in hell so and so ends elsewhere and then it blows up at the end?

You're asking me to read the mind of a 17 year old kid. I don't know what he's going to do. I'm just taking him at his word right now.

If he says he thinks it'll come down to signing day then that's what I believe right now. If next week he says he's 100% LSU then that's what I'll believe. What else do you have to go on?

These are fricking kids. They don't know what they want a lot of the time.

That said, O has some work to do if he's saying "FSU is the place for me."

After reading that, if he had to wake up today and sign...where do you think he would choose.
Yall always say "flip" there is only one signature..before that it's all words. I would absolutely say based on HIS OWN WORDS after committing to us, he has now "flipped" his opinion.

He is no longer the leader of this class, period. Leaders do NOT ever waiver in the commitments...ever! Now every single uncommitted player he has tried to recruit is reading that saying "lied to me"

Our schollys are getting tight. This kid needs to let the staff know if hes wavering so we can fill the need at his position. Make him wonder, dont sit back and wait.

Kardell, Tiger nation is disappointed in your "leadership". You're an incredible talent, I hope you're a Tiger at heart and attend LSU.

His mom and family is there with him. He says his mom loves Taggart. Keep your head in the sand on this one.

God, I hate recruiting

THIS ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I remember when the recruiting board was firdt instituted back during Joe McKnight shite storm or right afterwards. After the 5 for 5 and all the other shaddy crap that has come to light over the years i find just critiquing their game without getting emotionally involved to be the safest bet of not getting high blood pressure or worse, a stroke.

Kardell needs to check himself with such comments after self-proclaiming to be LSU's recruiting Ambassador for all these months and leader. He throws his own shade and if he expects us not to question his committment after all the crap seen he is wrong.
