Derrick Tezeno is the best player in the state IMO.
He hung 50 on MC35 with a supporting cast of two teammates who are legitimate top scorers.

I haven’t seen Newman or Lockett (2023).
Dunham, which, I haven’t seen either, has a player (Carlos Stewart) who many say is the best in state senior.

Lockett is talented and has a strong motor. In my opinion both Keon Coleman and E Macdonald of Scotlandville are better. Coleman is a walking triple double. I think his talent will translate well in college. He could be another Charlie Ward (not saying he will win the Heisman). But he is certainly good enough to start in both football and hoops like Ward did at FSU.
