I think on this one it is much more a hurt to our pride than a hurt to our team. We have some very good DB prospects and our coaches can turn 3 star recruits into 1st round draft choices anyway. I also truly believe LC would be a much better offensive player than defense but what do I know.

No, it really is pretty stupid to meltdown over this. It is not like we don't already have a stocked cupboard of talent and a great class coming in even if LC doesn't come to LSU. We are loaded. One player will not make or break LSU. Joe Mcknight didn't matter and Janzen Jackson didn't matter.

Same guy said he was 100% going to LSU 24 hours earlier. . .but for some reason, he is only credible if he is feeding Tiger fans' abandonment issues.
If he comes to LSU, great
If he goes to Bama, have fun.
One safety will not make us a Championship team, nor will losing one cost us a championship.

The point is not about us losing out. Yes we will be fine. But Bama will have gotten a little better bc of a Louisiana home grown boy, that's what will cause a meltdown

After this is all done some people will have egg on their face and some will become the next “in the know.” However, it will not have any real barring on future information because everyone is just trying to connect the dots. Only LC knows……
I find it interesting some people think one recruiting service knows more than the other or is more reliable. Their reliability changes from yr to yr. It all depends on their relationships with kids and coaches. In the early days of these recruiting services they were all more reliable. That was when people did not pay as much attention as they do now. A kid could tell a service what they were doing and it still would be big news to a lot of people. The kids still want their big moment and deserve it. The only way to do that is share less and have fun with all these message boards….

I heard the game is being played and taped at noon today. any truth to this?
secondly, landon picked the best possible time for his commitment to be secret. he didn't know at the time he decided to make it at the a/a game lsu and bama would be in new orleans for the n.c. game. because of this, all sources have to be taken with a grain of salt since the coaches aren't going to answer calls from boosters/recruiting media while they are in new orleans. therefore, info wont be leaked.
